Lightning in a Bottle, SoCal's greenest music festival is quickly approaching and we over at whatsGOOD are stoked for a weekend of live performances, interactive art, and yoga. The five-day long event is enough to challenge the limits of even the most seasoned festival-goers, and between rocking out, camping, and partying, we know a solid hangover breakfast or late-night taco binge is key to rallying for another day.
We took on the challenge of figuring out your food, so all you have to focus on is getting your groove on. We scoured our database of 417,000 restaurants and filtered through 31,000,000 dishes to round up the best grub in the area worth checking out.
Late Night:
Alberto's Mexican Food on Moreno Road
What's Good: This eco-friendly fest proudly serves solely vegetarian fare, but if you've just gotta sink your teeth into something that used to "moo," check out the Carne Asada Fries or the Surf and Turf Burrito at Alberto's Mexican Food. It's open 24-hours, so you won't miss a minute of your favorite performer while satisfying your late-night munchies.
Hangover Cure:
The Hungry Bull on Murrieta Hotsprings Road
What's Good: This joint opens at 7am and serves breakfast all day, so whenever you awaken from your alcohol-induced slumber, they'll be there to nourish you. Grab one of the best Breakfast Burritos around from the drive-thru, or if you've snoozed well past your craving for breakfast, the Pastrami Burger and Zucchini Sticks are two popular picks.

The Broken Yolk on Ynez Road on Ynez Road
What's Good: If you just can't sleep in a tent and happen to be up before 8am, The Broken Yolk offers early bird specials Monday through Friday. Bonus points for gluten-free pancakes! If you're feeling ambitious, take the Broken Yolk Iron Man (or woman) Challenge--a dozen-egg omelet smothered in chili and cheese, with fries and biscuits on the side. We dare you...just don't put yourself out of commission for the day--there's music to be heard! One of Lightning in a Bottle's yoga sessions is sure to help you burn off all those extra calories.

Mr. You Express Chinese Food on Rancho California Road
What's Good: Ah, nothing goes together quite like camping and...Chinese food? Ok, so it's not a traditional combo, but we can get on board, especially with a two-item combo for $5.99. We'd pick the Spicy Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork, paired with Mr. You's legendary fried rice. For you herbivores, there's always Szechuan broccoli or tofu. Bon Apetit, or however you say it in Chinese.

Doffo Winery on Summitville Street
What's Good: Formerly held in Orange County, the festival has been relocated this year to Temecula. Lake Skinner is surrounded by TONS of wineries, so if you want to make the most of your visit to the Napa of southern California, stop by Doffo Winery for a tasting. Just $10 gets you a taste of six Doffo Wines (their Sauvignon Blanc is wonderful), or you can take a tour of the vineyards to see where the magic happens.

What's Good: You're in the home stretch of your drive, and all of a sudden -- you're ravenous. Enter King Kabob -- Cherry Rice and a Lamb Kabob will provide you with the sustenance you need to finish your journey! Don't forget Homemade Baklava with Ice Cream for dessert...you're almost there!

What's Good: It's been a long weekend -- you came, you rallied, you...survived on camp food for four days. Reward yourself with a stellar sub from Benny's Place. What's Good: If the sheer excitement and anticipation of the musical magical weekend that lies ahead isn't enough to wake you up, swing by All of the Above Bakery for some liquid adrenaline. While you're there, you'll probably be tempted by a vast selection of oatmeal cookies (oh so many cookies), vanilla cupcakes, or perhaps on the more savory side, a pair of chicken salad popovers. All bakery items are gluten-free, but you'd never know it.

Campini's Deli Italiano on Old Town Front Street
What's Good: The philosophy behind the sub is simple: eat half now, half later -- unless you just can't control yourself, which might be the case with Campini's Special Sandwich. Once you get a taste of capocollo, proscuitto, and genoa salami on an Italian roll, you might forget you're in America (just remember to drive on the right side of the road). The cucumber salad is not to be missed. Duke it out with your L.A. friends about who got the better lunch on the way out. With four beers on draft at Campini's, you might come out on top.
