One of the two white men arrested shortly before 2A.M. Sunday morning for shooting three African-American North Tulsa residents to death and injuring two others had a racist posting on his Facebook pages. The apparently random racially motivated shootings terrorized Tulsa's African-American community. The city in 1921 was the location of one of the nation's worst race massacres. Jake England , 19, and Alvin Watts, 32, were taken into custody Sunday morning by a task force of local and federal law enforcement including the Tusla Police Department and Sherriff's office as well as the FBI and U.S. Marshall's service. The spree attacks apparently took place almost two years to the day after England's father was killed by an African-American man who tried to break into the apartment of suspect Jake England's sister. The father went to the North Tulsa apartment complex after the man who had attempted the break-in threatened the daughter upon his return.
On Thursday afternoon, Jake England appears to have posted the following message on his facebook page:

Carl England, Jake's father,according to local news stories from April 2010 went to the Comanche Park Apartments at 3608 North Quaker Avenue to assist his daughter after she was involved in a confrontation that day. The elder England was allegedly shot to death at the apartments by Pernell Demond Jefferson, a convicted felon. Jefferson was allegedly struck by the younger England's boyfriend with a baseball bat during an attempt to break into her apartment. Carl England appeared to go to the apartment after Jefferson threatened to get even with his daughter for being hit earlier in the day.
Authorities have not yet released detailed information, although the arrests appear to be based on a hotline tip.

if we have a race war, it will be started by whites. they are obviously feeling threatened and desperate, and blaming all their personal woes on the black race.
the truth is that white people are becoming just another minority class in America. and some of them just can't handle that.

For every person who commits acts like this....there are dozens of others who THINK like this. But simply have better impulse control.
I hear that there may be more arrests coming, so this was some horrible group with one agenda. Now, they are going to be around the people they hate 24/7.
Someone who does things like this, sees people as simply being "examples" of whatever "group" they happen to belong to. Their outlook on the world is very "tribal".
So (in this case) it was not a felon (who just happened to be black) who killed his father. It was a BLACK PERSON who killed his father, so therefore all black people shared in the responsibility for the death....and in the revenge he was going to exact for it.
Behavior like this never makes any sense, rationally. It is driven by emotion (fear, hatred, rage) and group identity (us vs "them").

What Is Your Point?
It is perplexing to me to find a point for this article, unless it is to further stir the anger among the African Americans. It was an unfortunate incident but does warrant a spot at the national level, unless you are going to discuss a broader point for all of us.
It seems to me that time would be better spent talking about the rising violence that is motivated by race. Yet it seems to me that much of the drive by media and progressive so called journalists like yourself has a guilt or persecution complex in discussing flash mobs or the reprisal killings for Trevon's death.
Where are those who are courageous enough to discuss the entire issue, because all I see right now are those riding the wave of race hustlers.

Shooting a bunch of black people simply because they are black is apparently not national news to this person. Probably shouldn't even be local news in his opinion. After all, you know how excitable black people can be.

No, it's not funny actually. It's sad that you live in a country where such attacks are so common that they only make the local news.
Not to be cold blooded, but a criminal act however horrible is not in the same league as race based terrorism.

Soisay: I agree. Chicago's bad economy increase dangerous areas. Until local tax cuts diminish police soon (from job outsourcing, 2-wars/tax-cuts, deficit hawking), the USA has better enforcement against marauding criminals than most African, mid-Asian, and central America nations. But just as we don't compare religious freedom to oppressive Wahhabists in SArabia, Iraq, Iran, etc, we shouldnt compare street crime, kidnapping, gang shootings to Cali, Veracruz, Mogadishu, or Kandahar.
Crimes like Zimmerman, caused by mass hysterical suspicion exacerbated by armed participants are the wrong strategy. Had he waited for a squad car, this wouldn't have happened. And you wouldn't be bringing up Sr Citizens in Tulsa.
