Tuesday's election brought down the final curtain not only on a grueling, two-year presidential campaign, but also on a noisy season of political advertising--one that included radio and television spots, internet banners, robocalls, a half-hour primetime infomercial, and an endless torrent of attack ads. Think we're done with all that for a few years? Not by a long shot. After all, negative advertising is a hard habit to break, especially for our friends in the GOP.

Great satire!! Whats sad though is a lot of Repubs REALLY think this way...I hear some blaming Obama for the stock market (convienently forgetting the OTHER crash 2mos ago of course)
There isn't going to be any "honeymoon" period with the hard-right neocons. They want Obama to fail spectacularly and could care less if the whole country sinks with him. There is an incredible amount of bitterness that Obama won and they seem determined to vilify him every chance they get. They just can't face the fact that the majority of Americans want this country to go in a new direction and trust Obama to guide us there. We're tired of the hateful, divisive fear-mongering tactics which has been the staple of the far right for too long.
need to make sure every repugnant left in congress sees that one roflmao...
I know there's lots and lots of competition here, but I would put forth this add as the most inane, mindlessly stupid BS propaganda to come out of the Republican party since, what, Fred Flintstone?
Obama does not become president until 20jan9, and the Republicans state Obama has not changed anything? Obama gave hope, real hope and a huge sigh of relief not just to America but the entire world (less the bloody dictatorship of Congo where 8 million people have died in wars going back decades), Algeria and Saudi Arabia). The great majority of the population of this planet rejoice at Obama's election, less of course the "Republican (very, very) base" electorate.
Y'know, I really am better off now than I was four days ago. After the last eight years, I'm finally hopeful.
I think the MOST telling part of this story is that the people are asking "This is a joke, isn't it?" The GOP has been SO bad that almost anything is possible and nothing is off the table. Even an obvious joke is something to question for a minute.
Looove the super-sarcastic voice-over. He's got the attitude down.
Gots to send this to my kids.
LMAO!!
I hope this is a joke because if this is real it REALLY shows how dumb and stupid the Republicans are. Like Obama has the power right now to do anything.......I guess the Republicans think that he does because they surely don't believe in our Constitution, so I guess if McCain and Palin would have won they would have started doing things before they got into office.................This is so dumb................Won't these idiots ever learn anything?
It's a joke.
No, I don't think they will ever learn. They still think Sadaam Hussein planned 9/11.
I THOUGHT this was a joke...:) REALLY good!
From the moment I heard the announcers cheesy voice I figured it was.
Actually, I swear that was the same voice from the ad where Obama is shown with a map of Iran behind him.
RNC on crack!
This is a joke, right? It reminds me of something I saw over at 23/6 that was like, "Obama has been President-elect for 48 hours and my cancer isn't cured! Wtf?"
LOL. Almost had me there for a minute.
