Gary Vaynerchuk: The Brand That Cares the Most Wins

Gary Vaynerchuk has been perfecting the art of hustle since he was in grade school trading and selling baseball cards for a $3,000 profit every weekend. Flash forward a few years and he was working (more like put to work) in his family's $4 million per year wine business.

Flash forward a few more years and Gary sees the (early) value of social media, in particular video and Twitter, and starts Wine Library; garners a million loyal Twitter followers; takes his family's biz to $80 million; writes best selling books like Crush It, The Thank You Economy; and starts Vaynermedia, a 200+ employee social media agency working with some of the biggest brands.

His latest venture is a book called #JJJRH (Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook), a self-described textbook for marketers with over 80 case studies about how to tell your story, build meaningful relationships of trust and master sales via social media.

What's Gary's secret to success? He might tell you that he works harder than anyone else and that he's a builder, not someone who tears things and others down to reach the top. But overall, and in my opinion, Gary cares.

The video above is from a previous meeting with Gary talking about TYE (Thank You Economy) but there are plenty of relevant nuggets that you are sure to enjoy! Tweet me @BryanElliott and let me know what you think.
