Water Changes Everything

"Almost a billion people live without clean drinking water. We call this the water crisis. It's a crisis because it only starts with water -- but water affects everything in life. We can end the water crisis in our lifetime. But first we have to let everyone know it's happening."

According to Scott Harrison, CEO and founder of charity: water,

Almost a billion people live without clean drinking water. We call this the water crisis. It's a crisis because it only starts with water -- but water affects everything in life. We can end the water crisis in our lifetime. But first we have to let everyone know it's happening.

Scott's journey of making a positive impact in the world started when he hit rock bottom from living a lifestyle of indulgence and selfishness. As one of the hottest club promoters in NYC Scott knew how to throw a party. He was also the guy behind the velvet rope selling you a false sense of importance if you were lucky, rich or hot enough to make the grade.

But all of that changed one day when Scott woke up from yet another night of partying and realized he was walking the road to no where. Remembering the lessons he was taught as a child by his mother about living right, he quit his job and vices cold turkey and sought out to be of service to any non-profit organization that would have him.

Problem was, no one wanted a former club promoter to help with their worthy cause. Desperate and in need of spiritual healing, Scott was willing to do anything that put others ahead of himself. Instead of waiting to be chosen or rejected again, Scott ended up paying a non-profit so that he could work for them and served as their overseas photog. This experience and more changed his life and ultimately lead to the creation of charity: water...

Watch this amazing story of how one person can make a difference and change the world.
