Live from L.A. -- It's Tina Fey!

I know Tina Fey is the hottest thing around, and for good reason.

I've wanted to salute Tina Fey for two weeks -- since the Emmy Awards when I heard her acceptance speech -- I've been waiting for her to cool off.

But, as long as Sarah Palin is the vice presidential candidate, Tina will alternate between sharing and dominating the headlines and keeping us laughing.

The Tina Fey words that struck me had nothing to do with politics, Sarah Palin, John McCain, Barack Obama, Joe Biden or television.

"I thank my parents for somehow raising me to have confidence that is disproportionate with my looks and abilities. Well done. That is what parents should do."

Well done, Tina. Well done, parents of Tina Fey.

As much as I like Tina Fey as a performer, I agree her next award should be for outstanding offspring. Good catch.

Would Tori ever say that?

Probably if she were telling the truth instead of selling sensational books.

Can we have Tina for VP instead of Sarah?

Does that mean that Alec Baldwin will be Prez, then? Or just his alter-ego Jack Donaghy?

Why did giant conglomerate NBC-Universal pull something that belongs to them off of YouTube? I can't imagine...
