The first group date kicks off week two and Ben takes the girls on the group date to high school to "learn how to love" and compete in school themed competitions to crown Ben's homecoming queen. Jubilee, Becca, Mandi, Lace, Lauren H., JoJo, Amber, Jackie, Jennifer and LB have to make Bens volcano explode in a science experiment, bob for apples, place the state of Indiana on a map of the U.S., play basketball and race.

During the science experiment Jubilee and Lace are paired up and I'm not sure if Lace can't read or there was too much going on, but they don't complete the challenge of mixing together the "essentials of a healthy relationship" and are the first booted from the competition.

During the geography competition you get to see how smart Ben's future wives are, and it's a good thing they are pretty. Becca and JoJo lose this one after they place the state of Indiana sideways and in the wrong spot on a map.

The basketball competition is next and is apparently important to Ben because he's from Indiana. Ben says, "it's not like a scene from Hoosiers," because the girls were terrible at basketball.

The last challenge forces Mandi and Amber, the final two remaining in the competition, to race and jump hurdles to the finish line, and the winner is Ben's homecoming queen. The amount of girls who say "they always wanted to be homecoming queen" is a little upsetting but, in the end, Mandi wins and get's to ride around the track with Ben sitting on the back of a convertible.

Later, the group date girls clean up and have awkward couch talks and alternate who gets to talk to Ben.

Lace says she wants to redeem herself and she feels like she isn't getting enough attention and that Ben saw a side of her she didn't want him to see. Oh and she keeps saying, "she's not crazy." Red flags Ben, run for the hills.

Next, Becca takes Ben to a random basketball court and shows she definitely would have killed it in the basketball competition if she had been smart enough to pass the geography challenge. Ben talks about how surprised he was to see her, Becca says she's in this, it was overall pretty boring.

Next up, Jennifer, the small business owner from Florida, gets a conversation and the first kiss of the night.

Jubilee, a war veteran, talks to Ben next and tells Ben she was born in Haiti and was in an orphanage until she was adopted at the age of six. Ben responds perfectly with "what I keep hearing is that you continue to overcome." Well said, Ben, well said.

Lace starts whining among the other girls that she hasn't had any time with Ben. And she goes back to talk to him which has the other girls rolling their eyes and starting to really see the crazy in Lace.

Next, Ben takes JoJo to his special place, or as other people call it, the roof. JoJo has apparently never been that high and says she never felt this happy before, which makes us a little sad for JoJo. JoJo gets the group date rose.

The next day, Ben picks Caila for the one-on-one date and it's a ride along, aka a promo for Ride Along 2 because Kevin Hart and Ice Cube go on the date. The highlight was when Ice Cube responds to the question, what's the most romantic thing you've ever done for a woman, and Ice Cube says, " I married one."

They take Caila on a cheap date, to a liquor store, riding around LA and to a hot tub store. The hot tub store is where the little black box that Jillian made famous makes its return, covering something of Kevin Hart's. That night they go to dinner and talk about how Caila thought she had the perfect love story but it wasn't the right guy. Then they go dancing in an empty theater with their names on the sign, and Amos Lee is there to sing.

The next date is a group date using science to find Ben's perfect match, they test retinal tracking, odors and body chemistry. The twins, Haley and Emily, Olivia, Samantha, Amanda and Shoshanna have to endure this date. The twins admit to not being good at science, or smart. Blondes everywhere cry a little.

Shoshanna, the Russian, is worried she'll smell like cabbage but says she hasn't eaten it in weeks. Olivia keeps telling the camera how confident she is. By far the best of the test was the odor test when the girls were made to run on a treadmill then Ben had to smell their sweat. All the girls were described as sweet, flowery, or something nice then poor Samantha was described as sour. Olivia can't help but talk about how her and Ben's odor is strong and tells Samantha that if the doctor says someone isn't compatible with Ben it would be really embarrassing. Then of course in true Bachelor style Olivia, the villain, takes the crown with the highest chemistry score and Samantha loses.

After the chemistry group date, Ben takes the same group of girls back to the Four Seasons and talks to each of them individually. Ben so far has seemed like the best bachelor ABC has chosen in years, telling the camera he wants the girls to feel confident that they should be here.

He reassures Samantha that she doesn't smell sour, and this time describes her smell as passion fruit. He talks to Shoshanna about her coming to America to buy a car, which is great because she came here with $400, two bottles of vodka, a pair of jeans and two pairs of shoes. Amanda tells Ben she has two daughters and Ben says he's not scared of kids, but at 26, we can't help but think he has no idea what's coming to him. Olivia tells the girls while they are sitting around waiting on time with Ben that if Ben is a big believer in science she'd be a little concerned if she got a low score in their chemistry date. And then of course Ben gives Olivia the group date rose, again adding to her ego with her commenting to the camera, "I don't even know what rose ceremonies are." We think she'll know what they are soon enough if she keeps acting like this, oh and did we mention she likes to open her mouth as big as she can to the camera, it's apparently big mouth bass fishing season for Ben. Amanda cries to the camera because she doesn't get the rose.

As we roll into the rose ceremony, of course there is another cheers, probably the eighth one this episode.

Leah, the event planner, thought Ben forgot about her, he assures her he hasn't.
Olivia steals Ben, and the girls get mad because she already has a rose, the nerve. The when Olivia comes back she tells the girls that she is done and now everyone can have at it and hopes they can respect that.

Lace has a talk with Olivia about the fact that Lace thinks she's had no time with Ben, but already this episode she's talked to him twice. So she goes and grabs Ben again for the most awkward conversation in history where Lace proceeds to tell Ben again that she is coming off a little crazy, to which Ben responds, "now?" Ben we were thinking now, earlier, the whole time. Poor guy, there is no way he is the one keeping her around if he has anything to do with it. Thank you producers for keeping the crazies at least a couple weeks.

LB, who has been pretty silent, tells the camera it's hard competing with other women for time to talk to Ben.

Ben brings a picture of himself and Lauren B. to Lauren B. so she knows he was thinking about her. She didn't get a date this week, in case you were keeping tabs.

Lauren H. is brought a first place ribbon for the biggest explosion at the science fair for the first group date.

Ben brings hair clips, roses and a hot glue gun to make Amanda's daughters accessories. Ben tells Amanda "it's about us, but they are involved too now."

Amber is freaking out to the camera because she didn't get to talk to Ben, and now it's the rose ceremony.

Roses start getting handed out and LB is called up for a rose. LB, shockingly pulls Ben aside and decides to leave on her own because it's too much for her. Amber definitely ends up getting her rose. Both twins make it another week, Samantha, Jacki and Mandi don't get roses.
