Pat Robertson's comments about Haiti having a pact with the devil possibly being the cause of the earthquake, not to mention the country's extreme poverty, has been getting quite a lot of attention. Of course, this isn't the first time the evangelical has made absurd remarks as though he's been up on the mountain having a tete-a-tete with his god. Robertson doesn't hold back on his skewed thinking and yet he doesn't seem to see the dichotomy of what he says. Apparently, those who make "pacts with the devil" are going to suffer as punishment from God. And yet, Robertson also preaches about how Christians are persecuted for remaining true to their faith, as is shown in this video. According to Robertson, either way, we're all damned, except for him.

Here's a suggestion for Mr. Robertson. Perhaps he should open his Bible, take out his highlighter and mark Matthew 7:12: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
