If you can't embrace the idea of spending your hard-earned dinero on stuff that's better suited to dumpsters and eviction piles, you're in luck--we bought it for you. For our new book, "Crap I Bought On eBay," [Running Press, $13.00] we paid good money for 101 of the crappiest, creepiest, raunchiest and most inexplicable items we could find on the most popular online auction website in history. Then, once we had them in our (latex-gloved) hands, we tried to understand and explain why someone might want things like jewelry made from animal dung, cadaver spray or a haunted singing doll with a lazy eye. We came up with no good answers, but we had fun speculating. Here are a few examples:
