Chicago Beating Death Vigil


Here's a music video I did last year with students that I used to teach. Many of the students I taught were involved in gangs. When I saw Derrion Albert being killed on video, I couldn't help but think of them. I also thought of the students who killed him. Gang violence is a serious problem. The second verse of this song deals with why so many inner city minority youth join gangs and turn to gang violence.
