For many people, summertime is no longer a time of care free fun. Gone are the days of taking time off to relax and recharge. These days, I hear more and more people saying "I am so busy that I can't take any time off." I am guilty of this myself. Just like you, I fill my calendar with so many social events and client meetings that I sometimes cannot remember what I am doing the next day!

Well everyone, I am here to tell you something. I am going to listen to my own advice and make some time to enjoy life this summer. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift; thats why they call it the present." I am going to live by her words and treat each day as a gift and live it to it's fullest this summer. For all of those looking for love and advice on love, never fear, CharlieTheMatchmaker is still here for you and you can always check out my website for info on my services and my upcoming events. Just don't be surprised if I get back to you from somewhere where I am having a blast meeting new people and loving life.

My advice for everyone this summer is to HAVE FUN this summer! We all have to learn to take life a little less seriously and enjoy life and the wonderful experiences that can come our way. Forget about living life as if you are checking off items on a grocery list. Toss that list aside, kick up your heals and ENJOY LIFE!

Recently someone told me "I have been seeing this guy for a few weeks, and he is wonderful, but I don't think I am going to see him any longer because I don't think he is ready to take life seriously and settle down and have a family." My response was "Are you marrying him tomorrow? Why not HAVE FUN dating him and getting to know him this summer before you toss him aside?"

Another friend told me that he doesn't know if he wants to get serious with the guy that he just met because he may be moving in a year. WHAT? Why would anyone pass up the opportunity to get to know someone and fall in love because they don't know where they are going to be in a year? None of us know where we are going to be in a year!

So this summer, live in the NOW! Stop working so hard that you let life pass you by. Don't pass up a wonderful opportunity to experience life to it's fullest because you are worried what may happen down the road. Don't make any more excuses. Get out there and have fun, kiss that boy, FALL IN LOVE!

Remember, I am just a phone call or email away if you need me. And now I will leave you with one last quote from Mrs. Roosevelt. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Happy Summer,
CharlieTheMatchmaker
