Trade has become a hot and much discussed political topic. Both Democratic candidates have criticized NAFTA and other free trade agreements for hurting U.S. workers. Last month the Bush administration's proposed Colombia free trade agreement was blocked in the House of Representatives. Other proposed trade deals with South Korea and Panama could also face tough scrutiny. I talked about the issue recently with the U.S. trade representative, Susan Schwab.

Free trade agreements are only made to satisfy large companies thus they can get cheap labor an outsource all their production there. Mrs Schwab fails to talk about what the benefits would be for us citizen. Oh that's right, she's doesn't care about that, her only interest is to lobby for large corporations
