This is a great story, which ran across Associated Press media outlets today regarding the unequal distribution of small business contracts in the Washington D.C. Area, and the diversion of federal small business contracts to large corporations.

Chris Gunn sounds like a good radio name. In all seriousness, this is a story that I feel does not get enough attention in the mainstream media. Small businesses are losing out on billions because of their location and because large firms are receiving small business contracts and federal agencies are getting small business credit for it. This practice needs to stop. Where is the oversight? Oh yeah, I forgot we are dealing with the Bush Administration, but when it comes to our government spending our money- there needs to be someone watching and I feel better now knowing that the American Small Business League has the small business communities back.
