Tea Party Leader: We Plan to Kill Millions Like Mao

Is this really how we're going to play from now on? No ideas. No debate. Just gotcha? And not even clever gotcha. Just anything someone can take out of context, pretend to not understand, and re-sell to the stupid and the scared.

"Let a hundred flowers blossom."- Communist Murderer Mao Zedong

"Let a million flowers bloom."- Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks

Mao Zedong, one of the worst murderers in mankind's history, probably the worst. We don't even know how many people he actually killed. The usual number is between, what, 50 and 70 million? To put that into perspective, that would be 10 to 12 times as many people that killed -- that were murdered by Adolf Hitler in the Holocaust. Ten to 12 times.

Would you be a little alarmed if somebody in the White House had cited Adolf Hitler in a speech to high school students as the person they turn to the most? What is the difference? Mao was worse. Plus, he took away the freedom of hundreds of millions of Chinese, and now he's being revered? How did we get here?

That was a quote. The brutality. The gulags. The re-education camps.

America, how many radicals is it going to take? They will drag you to reform if they have to. We're talking about revolutionaries that idolize Mao. This man is a committed communist revolutionary! He also loves Mao! It's insanity!

Got you! Adam Brandon, press secretary for Dick Armey's FreedomWorks, really did garble five words from Mao to praise the National Tea Party Convention. But the four paragraphs after that, where I went off like a capon, were taken word-for-word from Glenn Beck.

He wasn't talking about Adam Brandon. He was talking about eight words from Mao ("You fight your war, and I'll fight mine") spoken last June by White House Communications Director Anita Dunn.

Makes him sound sort of silly doesn't it?

If you quote Mao, and I catch you, you like ten times the Holocaust? It's worse than dirty pool; it's puerile. It makes democracy look dumb. What kind of fool, hysteric or gutless coward could take something like that seriously?

And then Barack Obama fired Anita Dunn.

Got you!
