TAMPA, FL -- Florida primary silver medalist Newt Gingrich was on cloud nine after yet again failing to show any relevance to the majority of conservative voters.
"Second place in all fifty states is like coming in first in twenty-five," a proud Gingrich told reporters after polls closed. "And twenty-five states is practically half."
Mitt Romney may have won Florida, but the Gingrich campaign isn't letting trivialities like the popular vote distract them from the Republican nomination. Armed with the new motto, "46 States to Go," a determined Gingrich hopes to show America that, like herpes, he isn't going anywhere.
