It got a lot of laughs at the White House press briefing when reporters joked Supreme Court nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor should get senators to sign her cast after she fractured her ankle, but looks like somebody thought it was a decent idea.

Organizing for America, the spinoff of the Obama presidential campaign, is urging supporters to sign the judge's "virtual cast."

The group blasted out to more than 1.3 million Twitter followers a link to the sign up page, which will also serve as a voice of support as the senate readies for her July confirmation hearings.

On Monday, Supreme Court Nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor fractured her ankle from a stumble she took in a New York airport. Despite the injury, she attended a meeting at the White House and met with senators on Capitol Hill. She didn't skip a beat. You can show your support by leaving her a note below. We’re compiling all the well wishes she receives and displaying them on her virtual cast for everyone to see.
