The Weekly McCain Flip-Flopping And Pandering

You think it might be a good idea to show up to important votes such as the one on implementing the 9/11 recommendations? If you don't have something better to do, like go to fundraisers.

So here we are again. Another week has passed us by. And once again, for those of us at The Real McCain who track the good senator, he doesn't disappoint:

* "Did any Republicans call on [former President] Clinton not to pardon the aptly named Mr. Rich?" That was John McCain's response to Democrats' calling on President Bush not to pardon Scooter Libby. So now outing CIA agents is acceptable behavior to you, self-appointed guardian of our national security (excellent record on this front, btw).

* Speaking of your role as guardian of our national security, you think it might be a good idea to, you know, show up to important votes such as the one on implementing the 9/11 recommendations? If you don't have something better to do, like go to fundraisers. Just a thought.

* Finally, I understand that you don't want to be attacked for your personal life, now that some of the Swift Boaters are coming after you. But do you think accepting money from Swift-Boat fundraisers and hiring Swift-Boat consultants is what you might call, consistent?

There you have it. John McCain does it once again.
