Oh! Thank you jeebus for making the GOPers introduce this oh so important bill.

Now, get busy working on the next bill to amend this one to include: "...all others pay cash"

As long as so many people still surrender their fate to God, Republicans will continue to be purposely inept, and pilfer the wealth of our great country.

How much taxpayer money did it cost?

Weren't there some numbers calculated when the new House decided to waste all that time reading the Constitution out loud? Remember, apparently too many of the new Congressmen weren't able to read it to themselves and needed to hear it instead.

I was going to send this to my Representative, but since I don't want to get audited. I'll put it here to vent. Thanks.

Rep. Latham,
What are you doing?!?!? You took time to pass legislation on in the national motto?! Are you out of your mind? Get to work on jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Pass Obama's jobs bill. You are the biggest joke of a representative. You've put your personal gain and your party before the good of the country. I am so far beyond embarrassed and frustration. It's just anger at this point. And it will be focused on making sure that you "legislators" who HAVE DONE NOTHING, get thrown out of office at the earliest opportunity.

And don't you DARE send me some form letter explaining why you're working on reduced regulations to help unemployment. It's a joke. I'm a small business owner and I don't need fewer regulations. I need my clients to have jobs. I don't even know why I'm writing this. I know you're not going to pay attention to it. Worthless. Absolutely worthless.

And this creates jobs how? It helps the economy how?

There was no threat to remove this from the money, etc.

Rep Forbes may want to do a little research into E pluribus unum since it was put on the seal of the US by an Act of Congress in the 1800s and did stand as the motto until 1956.

But please, don't tell him what's on the other side of the seal.... His small brain probably couldn't handle it.

Uh, no. Since Hawaii isn't really a state, it should be only 49. I'm sure they will be passing a resolution on that any day now.

The GOP would like to make it 49 stars by removing Hawaii. They are still trying to make the President a foreigner.

Jesus said "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's"
That means PAY YOUR TAXES!!!!
Money is of value to the government.
You soul is of value to your church.
Quit trying to mix them together.
To quote Perry - they're apples and oranges.

Since Randy Forbes is a righteous, Godly Republican, I must dedicate one of my favorite Bible verses to Congressmen Forbes and the rest of the GOP.

"Woe to you who legislate evil, who pass laws that make victims -- laws that bring misery for the poor, that rob my destitute people of dignity, exploiting defenseless widows, taking advantage of homeless children. What will you have to say on Judgment Day, when Doomsday arrives out of the blue? Who will you get to help you? What good will your money do you?" (Isaiah 10:1-3)

Never was the truth more told. Congressmen Forbes may fool his constituents, but he can't fool God.

And since the 2010 election, the Congress is 25% more wealthy than before...
11:06 AM on 11/02/2011
The GOP would have us believe this is a Christian country. Let's look at the record based on the 4 Gospels.

Jesus spent most of his time healing the sick. Never once did he ask about health insurance. Jesus had nothing but scorn and contempt for the rich. He told the rich man to "sell all you have and give to the poor."He said it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needles than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God. He regularly denounced religous authorities. Were I to translate those words in their cultural context, they would be unprintable. Oh yes, never once does Jesus condemn or denounce homosexuals. That's right - not once. (Check it out yourself.)

Jesus' brother James, denounces economic exploitation,"For listen! The workers in the fields whom you cheat of their pay will raise their cries to heaven. And their cries will be heard by the Lord of Hosts."

So when the GOP wants to retain the motto " In God we trust.", I must ask the question. Whom do the Republicans think they are fooling? Certainly not God. They desperately need to re-read Christ's version of the final judgment and remember, "Whatsoever you do unto the least of these my brethren, you do also unto me."
