Now What?? 2016???
10:06 AM on 12/01/2011
I wish Palin was in the mix-oh what fun this would be! The Republicans are using Sesame Street Tactics-if you repeat it often enough it could happen/may happen/should happen-you learn the phrase and repeat after me=Obama a one term president!

Obama-Biden 2012
OT-unemployement seems to have gone up-blame Obama-not true-many of the seasonal jobs have ended-my son works for a golf course-ground maintenance crew-he was laid off yestereday until spring-goes with the territory.

Reality has set in and Republicans Know that they will lose the 2012
election.

All that they have fought for is in shambles before their eyes, and
they are left to keep up appearances.

Where are the Jobs, Speaker Boehner?

The economy may be in worse shape than most would have hoped, but common sense has to suggest that what it took 8 years for Bush to destroy can't be repaired in 4 years.
In addition, if you notice all of the recalls and voters remorse in states that elected republican governors in last year's mid term, and the anti union stance that the republicans in general have tried to promote, and lastly the republicans refusal to raise taxes on the wealthy?
It is going to be a looooooooooooooooong campaign season for them, as much as it is Obama

No chance, the silent majority will go to to the polls and Obama will concede before California even counts their votes. The people of this country do not want socialism!

William Howell with all due respect, there is no silent majority.
The 99% are speaking loud and clear.

Do You Hear Me Now!!!!

I will avoid the trap of your rhetoric and encourage you to wake up
before you are left behind.

The bottomless well of repugnant-can't hubris staggers me like continuous body blows. These hateful misanthropes place themselves so far above mere mortal American Citizens that it is as if they believe themselves to be on a par with the Gawds upon Mount Olympus. Their brazenly displayed moral and humanistic bankruptcy truely defines them as the Party of Syrup of Ipecac.

They callously disregard America. They are despicable. They should be scraped into the gutter from the sole of America's shoe.

"Meeting this week in Florida, GOP governors and their advisers fret that their party could lose its advantage on the tax-cut issue by appearing too eager to protect the rich"

This is like a sociopath pretending to have a conscience.

Christie is weighing in? Where at a weigh station?
09:49 AM on 12/01/2011
But seriously, he needs to see a doctor and look at a gastric bypass or something. He's doing himself and his family a disservice by maintaining that weight. He'll find that his moodiness, stamina, endurance will abate if he drops down to a marginal level. If he truly loves his family, don't make his kids a single parent household while they are still in high school and college.

Several months ago, when Christie was still a candidate for POTUS he attended a military ceremony where they had to cart him around the battalion in an open jeep because he wouldn't have been able to walk the football size field to inspect the troops

Publicly, the governors predict Obama will be a one-term president. Which is like calling a football game before the first quarter when you have a team of 89 year old players and a blind quarterback.

Compromise is not a 4 Letter Word
09:44 AM on 12/01/2011
The 2010 elections showed us the Republicans will run on anything that will get them elected and then proceed to continue with their failed policy of tax breaks and protecting the 1% along with legislating morality. This article only confirms the tactics they use by trying to use other, more favorable terms to disguise their real agenda. I hope the Democrats use their own words from this particular meeting against them.

They are too busy trying to stave off recalls, investigations, and repeals of their over reaching policies to worry about the Presidency. One term and gone is on their minds but it is their own not the Presidents.
09:26 AM on 12/01/2011
Oh, yeah...They are shaking in their boots...Gov. Chris Christie said the other day, (I will paraphrase)Every single one of the GOP candidates can beat President Obama. America does not want a bystander in the oval office.

America has...High unemployment...Gridlock in Washington...Foreign policy nightmares...5 wars...Escalating border violence...Negative partisan bickering the likes I have never seen...A shrinking middle class.

Why would ANYBODY want 4 MORE YEARS of THAT???

NO THANK YOU!!!

It is clear that President Obama was not experienced enough to be President and his nescience has hurt, and continues to hurt, our great country. He can't even keep his supporters because he constantly tries to play the middle of the fence...while staying out of the major issues that might hurt his CAMPAIGN!!!

I will be voting for CHANGE in 2012.

Not MORE OF THE SAME!!!

"O" Still President in 2012
09:41 AM on 12/01/2011
It's not like that...I'm not negative...just realistic.

I think President Obama is trying...He just was not experienced enough after community organizing, one term as state senator, and one term as congressional senator, to be President of the most powerful country on the planet.

But can you answer me this one question...After all of the things that I listed...Why would you want to give him another try? I just don't get it.

Yes America will change, all the T/pers and their Ilk are gone, you really think that
the Independent voters believe their tripe? Man you are this clueless
10:00 AM on 12/01/2011
Seriously...Why would you want 4 MORE YEARS of this administration??? It has been aweful. The middle class and poor have been hit the hardest. The only campaign promise he kept was passing Obamacare...A bill that, when completed, was opposed by 60% of Americans...Has raised premiums between 60 - 80%...AND IS NOW IN THE SUPREME COURT FOR POSSIBLY BEING UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!

Really???

C'mon...Tell me...What has President Obama done to be rewarded with a second term?

I won't call you names...I will just wait for an answer.

What a disgusting article to read. Basically it's all about what words to use and what to say to win the election so that people don't realise what they truly stand for. Isn't this a wonderful window into the workings of our political system!
