And as usual, the Arab League does nothing to help protect fellow Arabs other than issue a gentle reminder to Assad that they know he will ignore. The slaughter will continue until either NATO or the U.S. intervenes, and then we'll be condemned by the Arab League for interfering.

no the slaughter always starts when the us shows up. next time think before you post

Tell you what, "Justin", how about we send your butt over there to settle things down? You seem to be so knowledgeable about the politics of the country, I'm sure you can handle it just fine. Maybe it can be arranged for you to stay.

After seeing some of the comments I need to add something: Maybe this isn't the latest news, maybe we should continue to let the situation in Syria play out without getting involved, but the fact is that the Assad regime is the enemy of freedom and needs to go. I don't want to hear anti-Islamic or anti-Arab bigotry defending this monstrous police-state.

This mini headline has been here for a week? first explain to us all what an "activist" is, are there good activists, and bad activists, some dress in white, other's in black? then name them, post some photos ( legitimate), and then name the deceased? no can do? of course not- of course not-

The National Enquirer knew what it was, does HP? Allow me to enlighten you: King of Gossip, or in this case Queen of Gossip- Louella Parsons reborn?

What are you suggesting?

My first suggestion would be for HP to get rid of that mini headline:

(FROM AP: Activists say Syrian troops kill 100 in village... 3 minutes ago) that has been posted on it for over a week? and 3 minutes ago-

someone at HP does not notice that?' How is that even possible?

Next suggestion? refer to original post- thanks

The propagandists at AP are supposed to run a new story hostile to the Syrian government every day.

Get to work, AP propagandists!

There are no vacations for War propaganda writers.

There is still uncontrolled oil out there and every Homeland needs an Empire.

Get to work.

Hey, lets bomb them and let Islamic extremists take over. All in the name of bringing freedom to the peoples - and oil contracts to western oil companies.

It worked in Libya (the new Al Qaeda home base).

Our leaders are such saints.

Funny how the UN has not gone in to "protect the civilians." Not enough oil output there?

The UN can't do anything. It can't act on its own. It acts based on actions carried out by the security council, and China and Russia are concerned about anyone going into Syria because it has a base there, and NATO violated the UN mandate in Libya that the Russians and Chinese agreed to.....

It appears to me that as far as Libya was concerned the UN acted on lies under pressure from the West. Might as well do the same

You are required to present "pictured ID" in each of our states to buy a beer.

Which is more critical to our nations future, buying a beer or voting in an election?

Well, the reason for the ID difference you bring up is obvious.

A beer can bring about real change in your behavior.

Voting just puts a different PUPPET in office - nothing really changes. So why require an ID if it doesn't truly matter?

Voting is more critical. It is a Constitutionally protected right. That's why creating barriers and hurdles to voting indicates a hatred for America. Now that we've cleared that up, I must ask, what pray tell does this have to do with this article.
