Dogs bring more joy into a life than anything else. Wish I were as evolved as they are. I've begun to ask myself, "What would my dog do?" Helps me make wiser decisions. LOL!

Terriers, the comediens and entertainers of the dog world. We downsized after our German Shepherd passed to Wire Haired Fox Terriers. They are hilarious and show us how coveting for fun and profit can be fun....they are always after what the other terrier has.
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3. If I had a little while ago, it's mine.
4. If I can take it from you, it's mine
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours
6. If it just looks like mine, it's mine
7. If I saw it first, it's mine.
8. If it's edible, it's mine.
9. If you have something, put it down, it's mine.
10. If I chew something up, all the pieces are mine
11. If I get tired of it, it's yours.
12. If I want it back, it's mine.

Geez. Thank GOD for the teacher! They sure are quick to euthanize these days. Especially your local POUND. Those people don't care, they get a paycheck off your tax dollar. Kudo's to the non profits, that spend their time and monies freely to actually try to help the animals!

so true

What the hell? Does blaming the workers at the shelters, because an animal gets euthanized, make you feel better? Blame the owners for not having a chip em-planted or for not keeping pets on a leash. Gee whiz!

Can't imagine not having my "baby". "He's like my child". he is a walker hound, almost 6 years old and full of life. To smart sometimes. Have had to put several of my babies down over the years, it's very hard....LOVE them all.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

I only have my baby boy Siameese left. In a 15 month period I had to put my three gorgeous babies to sleep. They were three of the most amazing dogs, full of love and energy. I miss them so much. My little guy is always by my side when I am home from work. Really glad Stevie is home for Christmas with his family. Bet he will get extra treats and love.

If you love your pet, have your veterinarian implant an ID chip. It's an inexpensive way to insure a lost pet can be returned home. Even if you always leash your pet or have them in enclosed yards or indoors, accidents can happen.

Probably one of the best Christmas gifts this family has had in a long time. Stevie's guardian angel was on double duty to get this little guy back to his family. Merry Christmas indeed!
11:52 AM on 12/25/2011
So happy he was found! Everyone please keep your dogs safe in fenced yards and leashed and cats inside. So many sad stories because people really don't seem to love their animals as much as they claim they do. Accidents do happen but can be minimized.
