Paul, please pray that by putting that vibe out into the universe you did not warp some cosmic sense of Karma and foist her on us in a very important and strategic position. It is bad enough to live in fear that enough people take Romney for what he is, a supply side economic believer, a proponent to keep things as they are for the wealthy and cut all the programs that offer a leg up to hard working disadvantaged people and believe that Romney has all the answers and vote him in 2012. But now to be reminded that it wouldn't be only a GOP President that we would be saddled with but all their colleagues as well, it is almost too much to bear.

Gov. Sarah Palin, this nation's leading expert on energy policy, would be superb as administrator of our nuclear program; but she would be even more splendid and valuable as Secretary of State. Under a strong President, in times of military crises, who would strike fear in the hearts of America's enemies more forcefully than Sarah Palin as Secretary of Defense? She could serve effectively in a number of cabinet positions.

She might want to start by finishing a term as governor of Alaska.

Yes, should would strike fear, but she doesn't appear to be interested in government work. Leading expert is something of a stretch, by the way.

Wow, that would be like the opposite of Gregory Jaczko, well maybe not, they are both egomaniacs.

Palin as energy secretary? Nobel prizewinner to SP would be the biggest intellectual shift in a position holder in the history of the world.

I thought of putting in a line about the IQ differences, but thought it would be crueler than necessary. Even if Palin were brighter, her victimhood personality and inability to concentrate on anything would make her a big danger.

Well, the DOE persecuted J Robert Oppenheimer III, at great danger to the security of the USA in the 1950s. A model for the future?

You should have contrasted our current & past Secretary of Energy and their resumes' to Palin's lack of qualifications. She has zero qualifications for this position or any other cabinet post, not to mention they would require actual work of her and that's not something Sarah takes kindly to doing on any regular basis. Her staff did all the work involved in governing while she took any credit that came their way.

The incorrect sum of all fears.
Cabinet + zero < Cabinet.
