Ron Paul spoke out against affirmitive action tonight. I am absolutely surprised.
08:05 PM on 02/04/2012
Really? You're surprised? Plenty of people believe affirmative action is wrong. Plenty of people of all skin colors. Paul believes that the government should give no partiality to anyone. ...And I agree

Newt has to stay in the race. He sweet talked Callista and promised her the moon with a 13,000 man colony by the year 2020. She's here to collect. That gift from Tiffany's is small potatoes baby, she need the moon and the stars!

There is a reason why one man is born black and with other disadvantages, while another is born white with great advantages. The reason is that we once had an estate before we came here, and were obedient; more or less, to the laws that were given us there. Those who were faithful in all things there [pre-existence] received greater blessings here, and those who were not faithful received less. . . . There were no neutrals in the war in Heaven. All took sides either with Christ or with Satan. Every man had his agency there, and men receive rewards here based upon their actions there, just as they will receive rewards hereafter for deeds done in the body. The Negro, evidently, is receiving the reward he merits (Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation, 1:61, 65-66

Does this mean that all the people voting for romney do not care about the very poor either?

Cathar:

Do some research, even Ron Paul mentioned it in his speach this evening.
1.2 Million people are not considered unemployed anymore, they simply got moved out of the statistics to make it look good!

Only the mediocre are always at their best.

This is all a joke. Neither Romney nor Gingrich are "very conservative", in fact they are not really conservative at all. They are in this primarily for themselves and everyone know it. As far as having a political philosophy, they are completely malleable and move with the prevailing political wind. All they want is power and they don't care how they get it or what lies they have to tell to get people to give them their vote.
07:43 PM on 02/04/2012
I'd rather have a good moderate as prez (DEM or GOP) than an extreme left or right winger anyday.

Obama won the Catholic vote in 2008 over McCain by 10% (55%-45%). The Catholics are not happy about certain parts of Obamacare. They MAY have declared war on Obamacare. Stay tuned

It is going to be interesting to watch and my popcorn is always hot. I was thinking the same...the base is divided already and Mittens has already stated his position and it's not about the poor, coupled with the hidden bank accounts and the tax records....
