Remember "O, Brother, Where Art Thou"?

Romney's expression is priceless. I'm sure his advisors told him to look really impressed and excited but he doesn't quite pull it off.

They should have told him to method act. Just think about raiding another company in trouble, and getting to fire people and send their jobs where they can never get them back unless the learn a foreign language and self-emigrate in order to work. Yeah, that's it Mitt - think of all those lives you can shatter. That should give you a real vein of enthusiasm to exploit.

Well, I don't like Mitt, but I like some of Kid Rock's stuff. Never paid a dime for his music and most likely never will, but he has a right to his political opinion, because it holds no weight in how I feel about him as an artist. It is important for people to keep that in perspective--Kid Rock has no influence in the political arena and he is a citizen of this country just like you and me.

We have Obama and the Boss. Republicans have Romney and Kid Rock. I'm glad to be a Democrat.

Yeah, Romney got in his "car and drove out to a home of a fellow who lives in this area" is about as likely as me sprouting wings to fly out to Europa for lunch with the little green men. More likely his aides called, begged, and bought the appearance. Romney would probably walk right by Kid Rock, patrician nose in the air, if he ever saw him on the street.

I'm not surprised. Kid Rock's identified as a Republican for at least 10 years (albeit a very libertarian-leaning one). He appeared at a rally for Sheriff Mike Bouchard when he ran for governor.

Kid Rock LOVES Michigan. He is very much like Ted Nugent that way. Neither of them forget from whence they came, and both of them have seen decades of Democrat leadership do nothing but lead the economy down the tubes - ESPECIALLY in in Detroit.

Now, I suspect all of you are goign to jump up and scream about Obama saving the auto industry. Bullfeathers. Obama led the auto industry through a structured bankruptcy, just like Mitt would have. They only difference is that Obama forced the workers interests to the front of the line, rather than allowing the typical bankruptcy rules to work. It sounds great in teh short term, but there will be longer term ramifications. A standard, structured bankruptcy would have made GM a better company in the longer term.

Now that's just sad.

Kid Rock is angling to be the next "Nuge" apparently.

I think I'll stick with Springsteen.

Kid Rock, the pseudo-singer who rhymed "things" with "things"? Together with Kelly Clarkson's endorsement, Mitt Romney really got the creme de la creme of music backing him up. Who's next? Taylor Swift?

Kelly Clarkson never endorsed Romney. You're thinking of Ron Paul.

I bet you $10,000 one of Willard's wealthy friends OWNS the record company that Kid Rock is signed to and paid him a nice little sum to make an appearance....

Perhaps, but I will bet you $20,000 that Kid Rock is under no contractual obligation to make this endorsement.
