I haven't heard one thing going wrong At Kansas' University.. They celebrated like they loved the win.., not destructive animals in Kentucky.... Sad situation... indeed...

Kansas is a boring State and so are their fans.

I dont condon it at all But some are making it out to much more than it is If reading the reports fewer than 10 were arrested Small compared to detroit riots etc Also it seems to be a college thing to burn coaches It was an anual event at UC on Cinco de Mayo until just last year
03:49 PM on 04/01/2012
I agree, the only casualties appear to have been some recliners and a car or two ...dumb behavior yes, no argument there...but no need for outcry here...or sobbing about our "future leaders"...this kind of thing happens from time to time in a lot of places.

not me, Radical. I am an Orioles fan and as ususal it will be 6 months of pure torture. my husband was musing the other day about getting season tickets again, and i politely told him i would divorce him in a new york minute if he did.

I went to UK...and this sort of thing does tend to happen when extremely large numbers of people are drunk and excited...the mob mentality does tend to take over. Some furniture was burned and a few cars were tipped over...this only happened in a few blocks of the city...all in all I do not believe it is anything that serious (yes, that's right!). Big deal...I have seen much worse...ever been in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Milan, or Glasgow after a huge futbol derby win or championship??...I have...and trust me it is much worse lol! Also, what is god's name does race have to do with a sports riot..it is so stale to make every issue about race or politics...

These fans would have loved Mayan basketball where a member of the losing team was sacrificed.

And while soldiers are sent into and out of one theater of occupation still the 'higher educated' future leaders for many do their thing of acting like total fools who won't get the bills for the destruction created but sure as heck will complain about any share, called taxes, they contribute!! While not Demanding they Sacrifice, a decade now, for the results of these wars, just like daddy and mommy, game on, monday night gives them or the other teams fans another chance to out due!!!
