Saddam Hussain also pretended to have nukes .American an other western intel saw through that to..They would have never attacked Iraq if they thought they really had nukes, chems or bio,s.North Korean's might want to watch their step. The west just might call their bluff

Saddam had WMD's. If he didn't, what did he attack the Kurds with? Google Kurdish massacre. He had mustard gas, and sarin at the very least. Where is now? We don't know.

Any credible adversary knows you only show your enemies (and your friends) what you want them to see. It really doesn't matter if NK has anything, because China does and which side do you think they'd choose?

I served on the USS Dyess DD880 in the early 60's. Any connection to you?

Well, now that their rocket test flopped and their parade rockets are exposed as fakes, I wonder how NK will react when the U.S. announces their upcoming nuclear test is a flop? It will be an underground test so the test will be whatever the US says it is.

That will produce a huge "BURP!" heard around the world on devices of all kinds.

The question is the response, and by whom and why. But whatever happens, I'll bet the "why" part of the equation will never be answered/justified in the future. NEVER!

At first one might wonder who NKor thinks they are fooling but considering what people in the West believe, even when shown evidence they are wrong, it is very likely many N. Koreans believe their government is truly that powerful and strong and worth suffering for.

"Fabricating a missile like the KN-08 would require a gigantic indigenous technical effort. ... The only way North Korea could develop such a missile with its pitiful economy would be if someone gave it to them."

And China would never do that, right? Ha!

Fakes are everywhere, maybe they got the idea from BO: his friend Mr. Wright being a reverend; his attack on religious freedom disguised as "free" birth control to buy votes; his signature on a book written by Ayres; saying the "Buffet rule" will solve debt problems to incite class warfare; dancing, singing, and shooting hoops to distract us from his job performance; saying Obamacare was bipartisan; accepting the Nobel Peace prize and credit for killing Osama; calling himself a Christian.

Dear se72748,
What I've noticed, just in general, over time, is that people who detract from the truth on this site are more likely to use something other than their name.

While this info is definately a little relief, the reality is that we still don't know for sure what they have or what they are capable of producing in the near future.

It could be fakes, and that do not make Korea a "nice "nation. What is not fake is that China has given CHAVEZ in Venezuela 50.000 millions to access and "insure" oil supply.but there is no mention in our press.I heard it in international news TODAY

Pretty interesting if that is true. The average person, including the "sheeple" N. Koreans on the street would never be able to pick on it. Conveniently, now we can ship food to them because they are no threat?

It is a FAINT AND FAKE. It is odds of the balance. North Korea is but a launching pad equal US to more reinforce their range. Don't worry israel, you beings have your own free of charge. Israel has the scare tactics of Iran as in schudds. EPlease Americans GIVE OUR PRESIDENT TO BREATH AND PROTECT OUR NATIONS WITHOUT FURTHER BLOOD SHED?

It's funny , Bush came up with all kinds of phony info to make it look like Iraq had WMDs so he could attack them, then you have North Korea who says I've got WMDs and I'll use them on you so he sends them a check. Go figure. I guess he wasn't scared of Iraq because he knew their military strenth was depleted and he didn't know what an insurgency was yet but he did know that North Korea had one of the biggest standing armys in the world. He must have been scared to death of the North Koreans.
