Admitting that they can't control their own children is the first step.

How this helps their personal failures I do not know.

…You're comment reminded me of an editorial by Kenneth Ham, (Hamm?), on wnd.com.

Mr. Ham, a PhD at 'answersingenesis.something’ maintains he / they can prove the earth / universe are a mere 4-5,000 years old…
These are the same folk connected with an effort to entice a separation of 'fools, and their money', re a Creationist theme park with a life size, 'biblically-correct' Ark!

Can you imagine?
…Grown adults postulating an iron-age / stone age nuclear family, of way, less-than-100-individuals, maintaining ALL earth’s herbivores, carnivores, etc., on a slightly-larger-than ‘Maddox-class-DD’, (WW-2-vintage ‘destroyer’, similar to the 'Intrepid' meuseum's destroyer, NYC), for some time period of at least...weeks-to-months?

What would ‘Otzi’, an Iron - age murder victim, (…unearthed in the Alps, circa early 2,000's), say?! I digress…

Mr. Ham was editorializing on his / his organization’s apparent difficulty / difficulties gettin ‘evangelical, 4,000-year-earthster-children' to become / remain 'evangelical, 4,000-year-earthster-adults'!

This made me laugh, cynically... As I've been noting for some time now…
Intolerant monotheist beliefs of all denominations seem to have hit the iceberg, and the time is about 02:20! (‘R.M.S.-Titanic’ metaphor-alert).
The last lifeboat has departed. That is...
Humanity, I.M.H.O., is watching a cultural, (rather than strictly ‘biologic’), ‘Neo.Darwinian.
Extinction’ event!

"We consider it to be very dangerous," ultra-orthodox rabbi Yitzhak Goldknopf told Lynfield. "It is something that is liable to cast down a lot of casualties."

Funny, I consider ultra orthodox members of the jewish faith dangerous since they are religious radicals & will do anything to get control over your life....

How about a mass rally against hypocrisy?

Maybe these guys can build an illegal settlement on Newt's moon colony and be relieved of the threat of the modern world.

In a further development, 'rally' organizers said they are expanding their protest to include.......
the Encyclopedia Britannica
Grey's Anatomy
Webstster's Dictionary
ANY World Atlas.....................................................
It's not the 'science,' it's you.

And how did they all find out about the rally? Through technology.....primarily the evil Internet.

The best thing is they used the internet to organize.

There is some truth to this. When you see people interfacing with their devices when they are out with their "friends" and when you see people more engaged with their devices than with people it is very alienating. However that being said I have become a better writer because of the computer and I can stay informed better and I can also research anything here and become more expansive and educated and therefore hopefully in some measure more planetary and spiritual. Thing is people need to take a break and learn how to connect to each other in a more real way ..Moderation in all things

Re: "...However that being said I have become a better writer because of the computer and I can stay informed better and I can also research anything here and become more expansive and educated and therefore hopefully in some measure more planetary and spiritual..."

The main themes on this thread seem to be that, in addition to writing practice, humans are becoming more humane / sensible and less 'C.H.U.D.-like’.
'CHUD', of course, is a movie - franchise; the acronym stands for ‘cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers’; If one substitutes ‘engineered homelessness’, on the low side & ‘Dick-Chaney-like resources-greed’, w/o concern for anyone / anything else, on the hi-side, 'C.H.U.D.' seems like a ‘life-imitates-art' acronym!
The alleged alienation of internet devices-as-cyberbetic-organism-like3 situation is no worse than our society’s (more-than-apparent) lack of civility and might even be a way to crawl back from this particular section of…
the rim of the abyss!

In any religion, the 'closer' you get to god, the more distant you are from reality.

Really sad that in the 21st century mythology and superstition have such a hold on people

Why don't they just go back to Israel and not allow internet there? You come to America and demand we change OUR ways? GTFO!!!!

Funny, I heard a 'native American' say the same thing about you!
'OUR ways?'
What makes you so sure 'rally' organizers AREN'T 'born and bred' in America?

People of the jewish faith who live anywhere besides Israel still have more allegience to Isreal than the country they are citizens of.....

so that means the jewish people in America care more about what happens in Israel than their "own" country of America. its disgusting
If you do not believe the jewish faith then you are "goyim" to them, that makes you cattle in their eyes instead of human

Wow. I disagree with the point of the rally, but...I have two ultra-Orthodox stepchildren who were born in the United States. Nearly all of their classmates were born here as well, as well as most of the parents of their classmates. I'm going to be charitable and assume that you don't realize just how that comment makes you appear to others.
