The only ones, who don't know, who's ruining this country are faux-people, and their paid-plants, of the wrong-wing, repub party. They want to do, the same things, that dubya did, which got us in this mess, to begin with. And btw, large companies here, have produced more jobs, oversea's, than here in America. And the 1%, say that it's the presidents fault, such hypocrisy.

Collectivism is a disease my friend. Break out of your box and try a little independent thought. It takes courage but I'm sure it will do you wonders.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I responded to this one individually in it's original place, but I think it actually deserves discussion here.

"Collectivism is a disease my friend."

E pluribus unum.

Liptonsmokers, like yourself, claim to be madly in love with the Founding Fathers vision of this nation. Well, E pluribus unum is the embodiment of that vision - they came up with it, they put it on the Great Seal of the United States to represent what the nation is about.

E pluribus unum: Out of many, one.

I guess the Founding Fathers were kinda into collectivism.

Wisconsin lost 23,900 jobs between March 2011 and March 2012, according to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. It also lost more private-sector jobs than any other state.

That's why Walker is playing voodoo with the numbers.

Update your facts goner.

What facts need updating?

You can find the BLS report yourself.

I will tell you now, it'll say just what I posted.

Anytime someone post the Marquette University poll that has Walker 51% Barrett 43% need to be challenge right away. I only wished the Media would. Only 720 people were polled out of 3,400,000 registered voters. Everyone should questioned the method of how Marquette University poll was used. How can Walker get 8 points over Barrett when recall signatures topped 1.5 million. Even the pollster couldn't explain the discrepancy. Marquette Poll Skewed Conservative link is provided below. Please do not be discourage or think that because the has Walker leading over Barrett your vote won't matter. The massive turnout of early voting is causing headaches for RNC Priebus. He knows the more people vote the more chances Barrett will win which is why he's been planting 'Massive Voter Fraud' the last few days. "GOP candidates “need to do a point or two better” to counteract fraudulent voters" Richard Saks, a Milwaukee lawyer who has worked extensively on voter ID law cases, says: “The allegation that there is any kind of meaningful or significant or extensive vote fraud in Milwaukee or anywhere else in Wisconsin is totally erroneous. We forecast a turnout of two and a half million votes in the election on June 5. Two percent of that would be 50,000 votes that would be fraudulently, unlawfully cast, which is an outrageous allegation."

Just think of the serious letdown those who took stock in the poll are going to suffer.
06:15 PM on 06/02/2012
LOL!

Tea party rally for Walker with the GOP chairman today had less than 1,000 people attend. And pictures show a distinctly older and white crowd.

How many did Clinton draw?
06:13 PM on 06/02/2012
Republicans are backing down on their optimism:

GOP chairman manages expectations before the recall. “I'm not going to play into this narrative about whether or not the Democrats are letting up because I don't care.”

The fact that ballot returns are coming in heaviest, and in greater numbers than in 2010 in Democratic districts is starting to sink in.

There is a reason for our cash shortage: we had a REPUBLICAN Governator for eight years. It will take at least that long to fix the problems.

But give us time . . . and we'll still keep sending money to your red states at the same time.

What you don't seem to understand is that conservatives actually want LESS government intervention in their lives and by extension this means less services. We are also unwilling to become government debtSlaves in order to provide for those who refuse to do so themselves.

Less intervention for everything except, you know, abortion and those homosexers.

I certainly hope they prevail. As a resident the other side of their southern border, I have become a Packers fan and appreciate more than ever, the hard working people of Wisconsin. What Scott
Walker and his ilk have done is beyond shameful.
The potential harm they plan to exact on the state is unconscionable and devastating. Further, I want to continue to help increasing revenue in the state, but won't be able to if he remains in office. GO WISCONSIN.
05:45 PM on 06/02/2012

Owned by the state and its residents.

Just the facts

I grew up in Kenosha... For the first time in my fairly lengthy life, I am ashamed of this state, and seriously considering taking my business to Lake County, IL. I have many friends there already, along with a sister-in-law from 'Da Nort Burbs.' I appreciate the honesty of the Illinois approach, which does raise taxes a little painfully, but is much like working nights to pay off a credit card debt. It may hurt a short while, but it is honest and effective.

With a little luck, our states can start cooperating again.

I am less worried about the people of Wisconsin doing the right thing and more concerned about the wacky voting machines and disappearing votes that seem to prevail there. Hopefully all will be well, but if you end up in Illinois, you will be welcomed.,

nope.

though they do share a certain clueless malice.
06:19 PM on 06/02/2012
I thought there might be a connection, since "Herbert" was in honor of Herbert Hoover (what an honor) , Walker was a blue blood grandfather -golf's "Walker cup"was named for, and of course Bush's other grandfather, Prescott Bush was a wealthy financier who helped Adolph Hitler  when he needed money to build the German war machine. And there is such a common tie in with the Kochs, who would buy any politician, Supreme Court Justice, etc.if doing so would produce a large return on investment. Scott Walker is all about money power and greed when everything is said and done. I can't believe that half the people in Wisconsin can be fooled into voting for people who will steal every dime they have if given the chance.
