sounds like ancient history, when this country stood for something other than hating the other.

The T-party worries about foreigners voting in our elections. I wonder if they worry about foreigners donating to our politicians? Probably not, they only worry about what the Republican leadership tells them to worry about.

One of the Tpers on another post could not even name the last Justices to the SCOTUS. He remembered that she was "Gay or something" as if that is even a fact or relevant.

Maverick McCain isn't looking so mavericky any more, is he?

Just another venal, corrupt, addlepated member of the group narcissists league of national corporatist kleptocrats - Congress.

International would be more like it. Just who else on the global market got a ticket to come to the swap meet U.S.A? Global Bankers, and Corporations? Who wants to win the election other then the tax paying voter? Euro Banksters, PIIGS Nations? Saudi Oil boys? Russia? And the GOP accuses Obama of shady foreign dealings? Pot calling the kettle black? Ya, ya, sounds like a confession to me.

The Republicans do have a vision for America and it is not an America I would care to live in. GOD SAVE AMERICA.

Soooooooooooo, let me get this straight. A average, Joe Schmo, voter has to show I.D just to vote. Buuuuuuuuuuut, some anonymous billionaire, can single handily change the political score, but shoveling money to a candidate he feels best to support his interests? Am I right? Is this right? Is this a joke? America?

What is happening to this country? This is a Plutocracy, not a Democracy.

This is what the first Repub president thought of corporate influence.

"Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. I tremble for the safety of my country."

-- Abraham Lincoln [November 21, 1864]

Who will win the monopoly game America?

The difference is probably in the way Democrats and Republicans define the word FIX in terms of the country's problems. Democrats think fix means to repair the problems and get the country working properly again. The Republicans think fix is like what the vet does to dogs. After dogs are fixed they never work properly again.

The biggest mistake the Dem's ever made, was when Harry Reid didn't change the Senate filibuster rules on the first day of the last Congress. Had he, we wouldn't have the logjam of legislation that sits dead in the Senate, because we couldn't muster 60 votes for cloture. Ever since 2010, Republican abuse of the filibuster has stopped the Obama Administration and the Democrats in their tracks. The Republican minority has hijacked our Democracy. Of course the Republican controlled House hasn't helped either. Especially when it comes to their obstruction of routine things like raising the Debt Ceiling. Obama's presidency has been hamstrung ever since the 2010 Midterms. I bet most Americans are regretting their vote for the Tea Party majority in the House. But not Republican's in Congress. They hate Obama so much, they're willing to forfeit fixing the economy if it will elect Mitt, because they know a lot of people will stupidly blame Barack and then vote for anyone that isn't Obama. Good news is that Obama will still win, especially since Romney appears to be self destructing.

Oh sure...Back when it was politically expedient to talk against fraud and influence.....
Now however, when the envelopes have your name on them...
Need I say more?
Folks,I'm going to say two things:
Your Democracy is a system of "legislative bribery"
The other is:
Your Congress is an "Auction House"
Enjoy your democratic participation's....

Their hands are dirty it is time for the Revolution our For fathers demanded when this day came to life. Our Country is being bought and sold. We need to change from the voter up.
