No question that this is the beginning of an Obama bull market and an economic turnaround...

The Markets are up because Michelle Obama wore long sleeves today!

Kill the Hedge Funds and Derivatives all together. We can no longer continue with business as usual.
We have to put an end on how Wall Street works.
Who cares about Wall Street? Wall Street is over.
Wall Street will play a much, much smaller role in the future.
We need to Banks to invest in the real economy again. In small and medium sized businesses.
Nothing is more important that getting a grip on those banks and Wall Street.

As an O T subject...

CNN just did a story about the number of homeless children (defined by about 4 different categories ) that are in the US.
They mentioned the 4 highest... Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and one other Red State in the South.

A L L 4 Red states that were fighting against the Stimulus Bill. (refusing to take money )
I guess they govern by their ' gut ' as well... who needs Facts to act on problems.

The best line has to be, "Citi "surged $.37 or 35% to $1.42(!!) and B of A,,,,,,,". These stocks were trading near a hundred bucks just months ago. How exciting for this new surge(suckers rally). Get a napkin for Kudlow, he just creamed his pink tie. Tommorows headline, "Dow down 250" as the ride of your life continues.
04:23 PM on 03/10/2009
Is it just me, or does it seem that when the DOW goes down it's President Obama's fault; yet when it goes up it's anything but President Obama's leadership in tough times. . . maybe it's just me.

My advice ...

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

This smells of cooked books.

Look out!

Here goes CNBC again. They all look like they're out of breathe.

380pts ..WOW...I just heard the word capitulation...

These guys are hysterical. They aren't the smartest guys in the room.

This markets was oversold but lets not expect "Happy Days are Here Again".

They aren't the smartest guys in an empty room.

I can't believe you used the "Happy Days" analogy. It went through my head about ten seconds before I read your post (along with the same sentiment)! It's astounding that Vikram's words of false hope have suddenly washed away the reality of a basically insolvent institution.
