That list includes all fruits!

Radishes, although a vegetable, are also very good for digestive health.

Glad most of my favorites made the list...simply for my health and healing; great knowing.

Hey -- what about Durian? Now THAT is a super fruit! Great for clearing a room of unwanted people.

Durian is like the kryptonite of the fruit world. I love the signs in Southeast Asia banning durian from public places. But boy does it taste great.

Most of these superfruits are tropical, and that's one thing I like about living in India. I get access to great fresh fruit. They did neglect to mention papaya, which is a terrific fruit for your health (and digestive health).

Yup -- you can even make tea from the young leaves of papaya -- it's a great tonic.

All the time. Whenever I'm in Singapore I head over to Geylang for some late night outdoor Durian. It is, indeed, an acquired taste, but once you acquire it you're hooked.

We're growing it now on the Big Island, but the trees aren't yet producing well. In fact, pretty well every fruit on this list, plus several more, are grown here on the Hilo side.

My name is goodmandown and I'm a fruitaholic. Need a twelve step, or at least a smoothie.

I'm with you my fellow fruita. Smoothie methadone can help but you may have a relapse.

Yes, I'm very grateful to have no pathologies there.;)

I understand (though not certain) some low GI fruits are okay for diabetics and hypoglycemics. It's not the all-or-nothing game once thought to be.

You know what SUCKS. The fact that natural food is now called ORGANIC (DUH) and cost twice as much as crap made in GMO labs.....

EVERYONE, If you can, plant your own gardens! Save money at the grocery store!

If you live in the country, you can usually find fruit trees and berries. I had several types of apples, pears and grapes growing up in the country. Plus all the blackberries you could pick. I have made alot of Blackberry pies in my lifetime. Yummmmmmmmm.

Yeah, I hear ya. Luckily I live in an area with has an abundance of farms and oodles of little roadside produce stands and farmer's markets. Sometimes, if you're not too busy, you can take a walk at a local park and pick blackberries and Paw Paw fruits wild (they're delicious!) But when we finally do purchase our own home, my first order of duty is to plant a garden. It's both fun and rewarding and will keep our food costs down (in the summer, anyway).

Why Does HP insist on using flawed "Slide shows" that force one to back out of each slide one by one? More importantly, I know that I might actually read a given article if it would simply include a text LIST instead of a "Slide Show".

Does that work? Unless you have ever had gout, you can never imagine the pain. A feather will make you shout. Good luck!

This could be improved by actually ranking them and not including pretty much every fruit out there..

I think it is actually very good what they did here: Instead of ranking (which gives the false impression that by only eating the top three fruits you are doing better than someone who eats a variety of fruit) they actually describe the unique beneficial compounds that each fruit has. It's often about getting the diversity that improves nutrition.

"remember, fruits have seeds, vegetables don't"

Really, I never knew they were asexual...snicker.
