Does anyone think Romney really wants to be president to help our country? He has no passion and definitely no ideas. I personally feel his pursuit of the presidency is more about the title than the country. He appears to have had the same attitude when he was governor of Massachusettes. He's rich, he's bored, and feels entitled to hold the country's highest office.

I say the same thing!!!!!! It's clear to see! He's managing to fool some poor & middle class bigots/idiots out there though.
We all remember how Clinton loved being President. He was super brilliant, young & energetic & was just burning with ideas. Obama reminds me of Clinton. It's just that he has a bigger mess to clean up than Clinton did after another Bush left office.
The Dems have had to clean up after 2 Bushes' mess.

The GOP and Meg Whitman tried it in Calif (to buy the election) and it failed. Romney will fail also. We are tired of his lies and GOP obstructionism.

We must show them that money can not buy votes. It may buy lying ads but not the vote. If you see and ad find out the facts before you decide. Also REMEMBER that Romney and his base say that they don't care about facts. So you have to really dig down and see if what the ads say are true.

actually you don't have to dig very deep....

Unless those ads include the missing tax filings Adelson would be better off spending his money on his own defense against violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Romney would be much better off just staying home for a few days or jetting off to some private islands where there are no foreigners he can insult to avoid the high that Americans are on thanks to this past week. Great convention, particularly in light of the previous week. And has anyone else noticed that the RR in Romney's logo is borrowed from the Rolls Royce logo?

Republicans continue to miss opportunities to deliver messages that give people a positive reason to vote for them, and instead focus on an anti-Obama theme. They predict doom and gloom under Obama, but don't have anything good to say about how things will be under them? While I want to see a robust economy, more jobs with increasing incomes, a balance budget, decreased federal debt, solvent social security and Medicare programs, and a stable and growing housing market; I need to know how the Republicans intend to achieve these before I can give serious consideration to voting for them. I was duped in 2010 into helping put a Republican in as governor of my state, only to have my taxes increased to pay for tax cuts for businesses - and our employment situation has not improved... I'm not falling for the "trust me" plan again...

So Romney wants the US to spend even more on the military to create even more government jobs? Despite the fact that we already spend more on our military then the next several countries combined and that Romney is supposedly for smaller government?
10:44 AM on 09/07/2012
He wants more for the military than the military wants

And,

Can't explain how to pay for it

since Mittens is hard at work on debate prep, Daffy Duck was hired to protray Mitt in the ads. most people won't realize the switch.

Heard on a news program by a republican strategist that they are planning to "carpet bomb" the swing states with anti Obama ads starting today...Might be a good time for those poor people to pick up a good novel or two...

But the campaign along with Karl R0ve's group will stop investing and running ads in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
10:35 AM on 09/07/2012
To the people of Michigan and Pennsylvania-I am truly happy for you that you won't be hearing all this (it is almost like a constant chalk board squeal from Sarah Palin). That has to be a relief for you.

We in Ohio are less fortunate. If you get a chance, bring your Dems to Ohio and help us get rid of those ads here. Remember we are all one, and I would be glad to come to MI and PA to do you that favor.

And what they don't tell you about is the millions more the right-wing is spending on disenfranchising voters and hacking voting machines in those same States.
11:23 AM on 09/07/2012
That is the one thing i worry about ,the right wing hacking the voting machines. With all the money they are spending i wouldn't put anything pass them .The D.O.J. had better watch all of them.
