i dont think he should have apologized... it was a joke, a joke he says he had no knowledge of in fact, if the people they interviewed didnt have a problem with it then why are we getting on our high horses and behaving like we have to protect the homeless. they are homeless not mentally challenge or helpless.. people need to lighten up

In fact, many homeless ARE helpless and mentally challenged or mentally ill. When the Reaganites shut down the mental institutions in the 80s, many of the institutionalized had nowhere to go and ended up on the streets. Just something to keep in mind.

That said, I agree with you that he shouldn't have to apologize for something he had no part in.

Justin is probably really sorry that this went public. He should be allowed to make fun of anyone he wants on his special day. The homeless people in the video should be more greatful because being featured in JT's wedding gift is the highlight of thier lives.

You are absolutely right! On someones wedding day it is an unwritten rule that all moral sensitivity goes out the window. Cripples, the mentally handicapped, orphans - all hilarious jokes at my wedding! And I am positive that those whom I made fun of were 100% "grateful because of "being featured" in my "special day". I'm glad to know that there is someone else out there that gets it. Thank you. You give me hope for the future.

Well, this is dumb. He apologized for something he didn't even do, which he didn't have to do. Dare you to find any instances of him being a selfish. He's even received awards for his dedication to environmentalism and has done things to limit his carbon footprint when he tours in addition to donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities, which I'm guessing translates to him being a decent person who doesn't get his jollies mocking the homeless. He's rich, sure, but don't fault him for that. What have you ever done to help the plight of the homeless? or is calling his apology disingenuous enough for you? p.s I'm not a fan of his music, but good people is good people.

Don't really think it was an apology. He seemed to think it was a silly occasion and was incredibly glib in the letter. Very disappointing, but it seems like JTs ego is starting o get te best of him. Perhaps some time at a soup kitchen in LA would help him with that.

Everyone of us had made a big mistake and maybe Mr.Timberlake's friend just did his. Tasteless? More than that: deliberately cruel and only something a Hollywood person could do.

What if Gandhi suddenly reappeared and said something to the guy, like: may this be you in two years.

Ironic. The man who said 47% of Americans are losers might win the election, and get's off Scott free. Meanwhile, this decent fellow, Timberlake, apologizes for this immature, callous, action of his friend.

What's wrong with America? Mocking the poor in funny to half the population. Terrifying.

As long as Romney doesn't win, the majority of Americans are still decent.

Your right. If he wins then we know the balance has tipped to hated and contempt. If the country elects Romney then the country deserves everything he can dish out.

People can say what they want, whether it was private or not, it was an immature and childish thing for someone calling them self an adult to do.

Why would he even need to apologize for this? I'm so glad I'm not a celebrity. I'd spend so much time apologizing for things my friends and family did it would be my full time gig.

Uhmm, some of it was slightly funny. But I guess I can't claim to know what works in terms of humour -- my logo is a kid wearing a paper hat. Then again, does that mean I am or I ain't aware of what's really funny? Hmm.Well, anywho, we can agree that he exonerated himself. ;)
07:07 PM on 10/28/2012
True. Just like he exonerated himself with the Janet Jackson/Superbowl situation.
