"The reality of it, the campaign was too much about biography."
Not even biography, more like a resume, but one of dubious accomplishments... especially when you started calling on his references, and we're told that most of it was based on leveraged layoffs and federal bailouts (even the Olympics that he (um) "saved" by trolling the halls of the GOP-dominated congress for a  Read More...

"The reality of it, the campaign was too much about biography. It wasn't enough about a vision of where they wanted to take our country, and how they would do it."

Jindal: Romney Campaign 'Too Much About Biography'

BOBBY, perhaps you missed the Many Memos in which Mitt and His Minions acknowledged that More Info about their plans for America would only HURT the campaign. The GOP is on the Wrong Side of virtually every major issue, so Mitt was attempting to take issues OUT of the campaign in order not to illustrate his greatest weakness. His ONLY CHANCE was to to talk biography and resume, and NOT about the GOP plans to eviscerate the Middle Class and give ALL the money to the Wealthy.

Bobby didn't miss anything because he is right in bed with them. He is one of those who think he can fool the people without them knowing they are being fooled.

I think that Bobby Jindal has started his 2016 Presidential campaign based on "I am not Mitt Romney!" Once his Tea Party beliefs and policies become a part of the debate, I don't think he is a viable candidate. Governor Jindal has been elected to govern a poor state who has had plenty of problems. He should welcome efforts to make life better for the good people of Louisiana.
08:53 AM on 11/15/2012
He is just like Willard he only cares about the 1% and the hell with the rest. I am speaking from experience. After hurricane Issac this man told the residents of this state they would not be getting any FEMA assistance. We are talking about 5000 families who had lost their homes. If it would not have been for the president who visit the damaged areas promising these people assistance. Jindal would have let those people suffer.

He brings up some really good points. I just hope his homeboys get on board with him

Gov Jindal call the GOP the Stupid party...Well your part of that team Mr Gov if you hadn't notice. You're playing Monday morning quarterback. If Gov Romeny would have won would you still be speaking these words...I think not. So stop bashing Gov Romney and your Team. The GOP is too in lock step with each other, you guys are afraid to disagree with one another. You don't represent your constituents but you represent your party.

But Romney said he lost because Obama bought votes with free gifts! And other republicans have stated that it was because people did not care for much of the GOPs platform and their recent off the wall comments about rape and other women's issues.

No, Romney and Ryan prove time and time again how out of touch they are with reality!

It had to be about biography -- because even Romney said, if he told us what he was going to do, he wouldn't get elected.
07:55 AM on 11/15/2012
So, Romney's (and your) primary problem is that he feels the electorate is too stupid to understand the argument, therefore obfuscation is essential. It would better serve the right to tell the truth. Simply put, you want to cut social programs (which does need to happen) and grow an already bloated military. the election is about plans and ideas, you are fronting ideologues, and that is going to be rejected, so you have to lie and conceal. So the main point here is really that it is very important for the GOP to get into power to proceed with an agenda the American people do not want.

We need MORE honesty about planned cuts and expenditure increases from any candidate, that is how the decision process should be. Members of the GOP beat their chests and declare the basic good sense of the American people if one of the GOP makes office, otherwise they describe the electorate as stupid or gullible. That is not reality my friend.

I agree 100%.  I'm just saying it had nothing to do with the messaging -- it was the message they didn't want people to hear that got out with the 47% video, and a handful of republicans who said things out loud about abortion that the rest of the part believes, they just don't want women to know they believe that way!

Bobby Jindal would be a formidable almost-Centrist Republican presidential candidate------if the Koch Bros & Karl Rove allow him to win the Nomination. The question is: Would Jindal be Their PUPPET once he attained the Highest Office in the Land, as Romney would have been? Jindal MIGHT NOT be that Beholden & might NOT follow the ORDERS to implement ALEC's LAWS. It's a GIVEN that Bobby Jindal will be in the presidential race in 2016.

For once can Willard be responsible or his own actions...this individual will go down as possibly the worst candidate in the history of US politics to run for President...he was a disaster from the getgo..

The tone of "if we just explain it better" that is so rampant misses the point. The GOP has kicked everybody out. Not by their choice of candidates, but by their stands on the issues. Jindal allows the teaching of creationism in schools. That denial of science is enough to point out where the GOP is on policy. The nation will not be drug back to the 1950's no matter who the slate of candidates are. The religious right will not move an inch and the tea party is simple people with simple solutions to problems that do not exist. It's not about biography, it's about an informed electorate.

I've got news for Gov Jindal....the government has already implemented the pre-existing condition part of Obamacare...and guess what it is dam good. I have it, I pay for it each month, I am getting well and soon I will return to work. I, frankly hope the state I live in refuses to implement it, because I love the insurance I have now. Won't break my heart...so I have to respectfully tell you Gov. Jindal, your threat is silly because they have done it and they can do it and the will. No govn. involvement in an decision about my care...it is between me, my doc, and of course the ones who truly control our healthcare the insurance company.

So far the only Member of the soiled GOP who is rational is Jindal.
All others are blaming Romney's epic repudiation on everything from
Obama handing out free drugs & Mexican dinners to women's menses all kicking In
nationally all at once and causing them to emotionally vote for the wrong guy.......
07:28 AM on 11/15/2012
Of course we looked at his past (biography) and we looked at where he wanted to take us (vision). We didn't like either.
Note to those that want to run in the future. We no longer need to take your word for your past, there is this silly thing called the Internet where everything you have done and said is reported somewhere. Don't try to sugar coat it, deny it or spin it to be something it wasn't. You are not dealing with a bunch of mindless followers that will just take your version of the past as fact. Watch what you say and vote for now because we will be checking.

Jindal ran the hospital AND the university systems in LA before he was 30 and still people don't
go there for medical care of for excellent educations. If he believes what he is saying now, about health care and education, perhaps he has tied himself to the wrong party.
