Bumping into a lineman is one thing...losing the ball is just...effeminate.

Greg McElroy is the best quarterback on the Jets.

In the stands of this game, some fans had a banner saying 'Ex-Rex', some were calling out for Tebow. Few were left in the stands and not many on tv left watching late in the 3rd quarters to sleep off their turkey.
The fans must use their power and imangations to shame the owner, coaches and players for thier collective mis-management. One problem is MetLife Stadium strictly limits banners and signs being brought in due to post-9/11 security hysteria and to limit protests that will get live, in game TV coverage but something needs to happen to really cause major changes. Indeed I expect obnoxious Rex, the GM who has lost the plot and a few poor players to get the boot at the end of this season including Tebow, and get some experienced QB for back up and help Sanchez.

Jets fan here. Look, let's face it, the Quarterback who will lead the Jets to greener pastures is not on the current roster. End of story. Now, does that mean the Jets should draft a QB? No, I'd like to see them get a pass rusher or a decent running back first. Now, imagine for a moment that Tim Tebow had completed some 72% of his passes for 300 yards on Thursday evening despite an embarrassing fumble. Skip Bayless and his fellow Tebow apologists would be calling it the finest performance by a losing QB in NFL history. For folks like Bayless, who love Tebow for reasons having nothing to do with football, Sanchez is a hated obstacle preventing Tim from having what is rightfully his. As for the Jets management and coaching, well, we only get 250 words here.

Greg McElroy is 100x better than Sanchez and Tebow.

That could be, but Tannenbaum, Rex, Sparano and co. will make sure that's never confirmed.  How embarrassing would that be?  Well, probably no more embarrassing than it already is, but you get my drift.

Don't even get me started on Bayless. My take on it is that he only takes the Tebow side just to get himself in the news. He doesn't care about Tebow.

Allegedly, Skip is a big Cowboys fan. How many Cowboy fans out there are obsessed with the New York Jets back-up QB? Let's see, there's Skip and...uh...Skip. Now, Stephen A. is too polite to come out and say it, but he's having trouble hiding the fact that he thinks Skip's interest in all this is that Tebow is a very vocal Christian, as Skip is. I agree. Being a vocal Christian is unobjectionable, obviously, but it doesn't mean that you can throw. Meanwhile, the Jets themselves are doing a great disservice to both quarterbacks while, ironically enough, Tebow and Sanchez are the only two members of the organization who are handling this with class.

Comedy of errors, unfolded within a minute, hopefully will neither define the franchise nor scar
butt butted qb.Players disgruntled, playoffs out of reach, how would the rest of the season play out? Jets are mismanged organization, still playing in former giants stadium, far from its fan base.

The Jets are horrible, which tells you how pathetic the Rams are, who lost to the Jets by two touchdowns one week before the Patriots made mincemeat out of the Jets. Just pathetic.
01:07 AM on 11/24/2012
I was hoping the Patriots would hang a 63 on the Jets. Snatch-ez is a damn disgrace. How many picks inside the 10 yard line do we need to see? Rex Ryan is a joke too. This team quit. They looked like they were going through the motions. Rex lost control of that locker room 2 years in a row. Liking a coach and respecting a coach are two completely didn't things. They don't respect Ryan. Show me another coach in the NFL who blows his own horn like Ryan does. You can't, because there isn't one. Simple, Ryan goes, Tannenbaum goes, Sanchez goes, Tebow goes. Need to start over..All Rex needs is a pair of hornrim glasses and he's Rich Kotite now.
08:29 AM on 11/24/2012
I agree about the locker room. Greg McElroy not only said this a year ago, Greg McElroy is he only good quarterback the Jets have, and their only hope for a playoff spot.
12:42 PM on 11/24/2012
Umm, they are 4-7 and they look more like a 2-9 team. There will be no playoff spot this year. The only question is how embarrassing will this be? They need to send a message and bench Sanchez for at least 1 game.

Sanchez gets most of the scorn yet I can't help but wonder how he'd fare if he were surrounded by an actual team and competent, supportive management. People are quick to judge but he isn't the worst problem that team has by a long shot.

Further, if Tebow had two broken ribs, why was he even dressed?

That's what I would like to know. The guy wasn't just dressed, but had on a helmet for much of the game.

No other back up QB does that unless they are getting in the game.

The comments last week by an "unnamed" Jets insider about the dreck that is the Jets wide receivers is absolutely dead on. Sanchez has so many problems. But not having any receivers to even throw to is certainly number one on the list.

I was watching Punkin Chuckin on Discovery last night when I remembered this game was on and flipped channels. The score was 14-0, so I went back to watching them hurtle giant gords for ten minutes. next commercial break, I flip back and the score is 28-0! Needless to say, but I stayed with the catapults and air cannons the rest of the evening.

In all fairness, Brandon's butt is fairly sizable....seriously, though-that might have been the most egregious example of ineptitude in all the decades I have been watching pro football-and I am no spring chicken.....

I've got this hialrious visual image i recall of the pitiful NY Titans before the Joe Namath era playing in front of about 1,700 people wasting an afternoon in the old Polo Grounds..;PT Barnum was right about NY Jets fans.....and now the Jets play just as awfully in front of gullible 80,000. ....
