Be Blessed by Bishop Paul S. Morton.

Be blessed my brother, be blessed my sister. Let me encourage you, let me speak life to you. You can depend on God to see you through. You can depend on me to pray for you.
You might be hurting, you might be crying. You might be worried and frustrated too. Let me encourage you, let me speak life to you. You can depend on God to see you through. You can depend on me to pray for you.
I see you in the future. And you look better. I see you walking in favor and prosperity too. I pray for you, you pray for me and watch God change thinks.

My best friend is in the Deaf Ministry at our church. The choir was singing this song and she was signing it. She looked up at me and smiled. It just reminded me that I have people who care about me and support me. I will always associate this song with her and her friendship.

Thank you so much for this article and the responses...

O Holy Night......and the third verse is about equality and love for all...there is a line that says "the slave is our brother" ...I believe it was written in the 1800's.

I also love "Ave Maria" and listen to Pavorotti sing it on YouTube.

Boogie Shoes.

Seriously. Whenever that song plays, I can't help but feel inspired.

As for religious songs of inspiration, nothing beats "El Shaddai" by Amy Grant, followed closely by "In A Little While".

Any song that doesn't mention my god, The Flying Spaghetti monster or his son Cthulhu is an evil hymn and the creator of such music and its listeners shall be doomed to being spanked with moon rocks. Cthulhu's commandment #364...

"In The Garden" (any version) as a personal relationship favorite.

"Wine Into Water" (T. Graham Brown) when I'm feeling someone else's pain.
