MANY HOSPITALS ALSO FORCE WORKERS TO WORK WHEN THEY ARE

SICK AS DOGS -- DON'T CRITICIZE WHAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT !

You are so right about that, Runamokinjun. I work for such a hospital. I get the flu shot every year, but I still get occasional colds or bronchitis. I had pneumonia this year. I got penalized and my job was threatened when I called in with pneumonia, and I work with newborn babies! The flu shot does not put some kind of magic bubble around me keeping me from getting sick. I wish it did. If hospitals really cared about their patients they would not penalize nurses who stay at home when they are sick. Instead we are encouraged to suck it up and go to work (spreading their illness all around) or risk loosing our jobs!
