Hey! Cut Pat some slack, it was the early 80's. We baby boomers are dressing age appropriate, w/ a little bohemian thrown in now and again. We've come along way, pot is legal is some states. Now that some of us are grandparents, we might just come across a joint and light up just for the hay of it.

Operative word "manages" to turn heads. Every woman does so, young or old, hours spent in front of mirror, in the closet looking for that perfect fit to turn heads.

All the celebrity women who have aged well seem to have one thing in common - high cheekbones. Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, Barbara Eden, etc., etc. Maybe THAT's the secret to aging well - maybe women should be investing in cheek implants rather than breasts!

Loved & still love this lady. (Oddly share the same birthday, & Rod Stewart too) Benetar can knock ya over with her voice & look. Her era had Debra Harry, Chrissy Hynde & so many other absolutely rocking women that 'Hit (you) With Your Best Shot'

I really wanted to mae a joke about her surpassing her sell-by date, but her mature look eclipses her trashy past looks.

she can sing. she didnt live a tabloid lifestyle. she has a strong, powerful image. she was sexual without being objectified. she didnt need back up dancers or $40k dresses at awards shows. pat is and was and always will be the bomb. the music world needs more pat benatars, aretha franklins, and ann wilsons.
