Clarke is a geek--a brilliant geek, but a geek nonetheless.

The man obviously has no pick-up moves.

Griffin could teach him a thing or 500.

I think a man appreciating and playing along with a woman's sense of humour rather than being threatened by it is a very attractive trait. May not qualify as a pick-up move, but it would definitely help rather than hurt his chances in love.

I totally agree. I saw them on Maher and it was downright cute! He has a wonderful sense of humor and it meshed well with Kathy's hilarious bad girl humor.

Grichard? Clathy? Karke?

If there's no facile celebrity couple portmanteau it'll never work.

I can't stand Kathy but this was hilarious. That is the first time I actually saw some chemistry even if it was on a performance level. These two should do commentary together. It would be hilarious. She definitely has the skill to insert just enough sarcasm to disarm her detractors ... meself included. This might have changed my op on her.

Hope it did, I mean its not an earth shaking issue but I find it hard to believe anyone could NOT like Kathy Griffin, she is one of the few comics around right now who actually makes me laugh and she seems like a genuinely decent person.

Women love an intelligent man who has a great sense of humor. Looks and age be damned. Clark and Griffin were too much fun. My husband and I just cracked up. You see this very often- I think. Very intelligent, serious people thrust in funny situations and they come out terrific. It was a very good 'RTwBM'.

Too bad the Bush administration didn't pay as much attention to Clark's warnings in 2001, as we've paid to his appearance this time on REALT IME.

I kept waiting for the old lizard's tongue to flick out & lick his eyeballs....Creepy...He was a good sport, tho. Still think he's gay; at least he has a sense of humor.

Is that how you will behave when the NYCCAN commission subpoenas you, Mr. Clarke?

Very witty, Mr. Clarke.

But seriously, are you satisfied that we know all we need to know about September 11?

I've never been a fan of Kathy Griffin. But I have to admit, she was on fire that night.

And Clarke was a good sport, even egging her on and being very funny in the process.

That was a pretty good sequence.
10:42 AM on 09/15/2009
Agree. I love unexpectedly finding out some politician or other news figure has a sense of humour and can keep up with a comedian...like the guests on Colbert Report who can keep up with him. It's twice as funny than if it were one-sided.

Sad Bear fan here agrees on Capra. I've seen Meet John Doe fifty times and still get a tear at Barbara Stanwyck's performance on the roof. Capra had some long lasting insight ...
Prophetic in some ways!!!
