That's all right, then; a quick web search in English got 0 results for 'decend' and 0 results for words beginning with 'decend', so you don't need to worry whether the photos are lies or not.

That's what a lot of people get for "edumucation" in this country.

Lying next to the fossil a misspelled Tea Party sign was found condemning socialized medicine and gay marriage.

"Neanderthals entered Europe before modern humans did, and may have lasted there until about 35,000 years ago"

I wonder what creationist think when they read stories like this

Had to laugh when you placed the two words "think" and "creationists" next to each other.

I've read that many creationists think that Neanderthals were Homo Sapiens.

I just want to correct a little something there. Homo sapiens is a species, and as such it's both plural and singular. There's no "Homo sapien".

But yes, I agree that creationists probably can't tell the difference.

I think many creationists are Neanderthals and think they are Homo Sapiens.

"Neanderthals are the closest extinct relatives of modern humans, apparently even occasionally interbreeding with our ancestors", says a lot about some of my fellow humans.

i didn't know the tea party traveled overseas.

sorry - the set up was just too good to resist.
12:01 PM on 04/02/2013
A nice one-liner, but tea (chai) wasn't around until about 27,000 years later, so no tea party... until Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote under the pseudonym of Lewis Carroll, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' where she encountered the Mad Tea-Party (Carrolls' usage) and company. The character of the Hatter (Carrolls' usage) was the association of mercury poisoning (other noxious chemicals were sometimes used in certain processes) in hat manufacturing...

If anyone can think of an apposite reference to the 'Mad Tea-Party' in modern context, I'd be glad to hear it...
