There is no doubt that Sangler had some "uncomfortable" view points at one point early in her life. It was a different era. But she was an intelligent woman who's heart was in the right place and that allowed her to grow. PP was designed to help improve the quality of life for women, ALL women. It has not only accomplished this, it has quite literally saved women's lives. Margaret Sangler can be  Read More...

Pat Robertson is a very cautionary tale.

Age gracefully or become the "Cr*zy Cat Lady" down the street.

Mark my words, he's going to show up on air in a tinfoil hat very, very soon.

Sorry HuffPost but you need to find a new word besides shocking when writing a headline for Pat Robertson's statements you have used all of the juice out of this one.

Ah, white people telling black people what is good for them. Men telling women what is good for them. Religion telling all of us what is good for us.

I'll take care of me, you take care of you.

Run along Pat, you have a diamond mine to oversee.

Dear Pat, It is male Republican Governors and their legislators that are driving women to back alley abortions with their wholly invasive and restrictive quasi-religious agenda to keep women from proper health care, family planning and contraception.
Over the past two years the GOP-controlled House of Representatives has launched one of the most extreme assaults on women's choice the U.S. has seen in decades. Republicans voted twice to slash federal family planning funds for low-income women, moved to prevent women from using their own money to buy insurance plans that cover abortion, introduced legislation that would force women to have ultrasounds before receiving an abortion and, most recently, passed a bill that will allow hospitals to refuse to perform emergency abortions for women with life-threatening pregnancy complications.

Agree with you 100%. A woman with life-threatening pregnancy should have the ability to safely terminate her pregnancy without the government having their say in it. I also agree that if abortion is made illegal that women who are desperate will resort to the back alley abortions instead.

Spot on. This is not about balancing a budget nor bringing down the debt. This is about trading good medicine for bad religion.

Well noted. faved. cheers

"Go back and read her writings," Robertson said on "The 700 Club." "What Margaret Sanger believed was there were defective, genetically defective people. They were Roman Catholics, they were evangelical protestants, they were Southern Europeans, they were Latinos and especially, they were African Americans."

If the above 'genetically defective people' quotes were even remotely accurate...how does Rev. Robertson explain Ms. Sanger & associates not euthanizing him?

Didn't Pat allow his private planes to be used to transport diamonds or mining equipment for the blood mine owners? Seems to me I read something about that a few years ago.
