Chirp!

My OJ also normally has a little (maybe a lot) of Vodka in it.
11:35 AM on 05/16/2013
Consider the Vodka a vegetable (potato), just like the FDA thinks catsup is a vegetable for kid's school lunch programs. By eating (or drinking) plenty of potatos I'm sure your system is the better for it.

I thought carrots were good for the eyes!

OMG, who buys Quinoa and Kale? Like anyone's heard of that!!!!
12:10 PM on 05/16/2013
Kale, sure, along with other greens all the time.
10:08 PM on 07/13/2014
kale is very good, and cooking it makes the food value of it go up. It taste like mustard greens to me...very good green and I thought is was just for garnishing a turkey plate for years..

both are delicious! quinoa is a great substitute for brown rice and kale is an even better substitute for spinach.

Try crispy kale. It is a lot better than potato chips.

You are what you eat......

Obesity is an epidemic in the US.

It contributes to heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and cancer.

Reduce your intake of salt, fats, and sugar. Stay away from fast foods and sodas.

Get a little exercise daily. You will feel better, be healthier and save money on doctor bills and prescriptions.
08:05 PM on 05/16/2013
Fats do not make you obese. Actually they make you skinnier.
Salt is neutral, and if some, doesn't make you fat.
It's the sugar and the excess carbs (mostly from grains).

Well ... I'll have a glass of orange juice now. And while on the road this afternoon, a Payday peanut bar! Let's see if I can drop the glasses afterwards!

I regularly consume 3 of these 5 foods, and my vision is how it has been since 2nd grade. Terrible.

How are oysters an aphrodisiac

They are rich in rare amino acids that trigger higher levels of the sex hormones, especially in women. These nutrients are more prevalent in raw oysters.
10:05 PM on 07/13/2014
I love raw steamed oysters and I have never been turned on after eating them. this is just crap, and as for chocolates...as aphrodisiac thats a load of bs too

I was born almost 3 months prematurely, and was born with a very serious eye disease: 'RETINOPATHY OF PREMATURITY'.

Would those foods help that?

*Hate* kale. Not a fan of quinoa, though I can handle it. Love oysters, o.j., and peanuts. Guess I'll get by.

Dried kale, like chips?  I haven't, but I'm not averse to trying.  I've also had kale juiced into carrot (and other veggie) juice and it's fine.  I don't avoid it like the plague, I just don't like the cooked vegetable.
