I don't eat at Papa John's I don't know why anyone would want to. Actual pizza is so much better.

I stopped eating Papa John's Pizza because he lied about Obama care and used fear to get his bigoted point across.

I stopped long before that, but his threat to raise prices just to "cover" the added expense of providing his employees with health care just curled my toes.....and not in a good way!

Hey, Papa, how about you hire some good employees and pay them a living wage? Oh, never mind, that will never happen in the good old USA.

But if he pays his employees and living wage and provides health care options, he won't make his own billions! So he hires the only people who will work for him, and this is what he gets.

These employees are a classic example of You-Get-What-You-Pay-For.
10:47 PM on 05/28/2013
They are a classic example of below average, unfortunately.

Progressives are such fascists they have supported the deletion of entire words from the English language.

What was the last story you heard of someone getting fired for saying "Redneck" or "Wop"?

Papa, you better find a buyer fast...between you & your employees, this company's on the fast track to done!
08:21 PM on 05/28/2013
The CEO should have fired the guy immediately. That will send a message. His not firing him sends another kind of message, which I interpret to mean, "Do not buy from Papa John's because they protect racist employees."

He would have fired the racist employees immediately if the customer was Allen West.

They did fire him immediately, rocket surgeon.
10:52 PM on 05/28/2013
That's good to know.
11:00 PM on 05/28/2013
Still seems that they protect racist attitudes, since they had a similar incident in 2012. The fish stinks from the head. If employees continue their racist behavior for over a year, after the company has already received bad publicity, that means somebody in the leadership really doesn't care. But I am glad to see that these guys were fired immediately.

I haven't had a pizza delivered this century....isn't $5 a reasonable tip for a pizza delivery?

I would certainly think so. Especially from Papa Johns and their horrible pizzas.

Yeah, I think it is...unless you're having 20 delivered, but for the normal 2-3 items in a 5 mile radius; I tip $5, but I don't know any drivers. Do they get paid like waiters? I dont know.
09:13 PM on 05/28/2013
As a former part time corporate store PJ's delivery driver(they don't allow any drivers to work more than 35hours), the answer is yes and no. While you are in the store you're paid minimum wage, once out for deliver you're hourly rate drops to two dollars and change. Also, most people assume the "delivery charge" that's added to your total goes to the driver, it does not. That charge is used to pay the trucking company delivering food to the stores themselves. Drivers pay for their own gas, car maintenance, and have to carry higher insurance coverage(in the Baltimore area, it's equivalent to taxi driver insurance). $5 is a good tip for the "normal" home delivery.

They would not know racism if they looked it in the face, which they do every time they look in a mirror.
