I have heard so many Republican Politicians talk this talk, but who is walking the walk???? Its not Obama... They say that if a Governmant shutdown occurs because this Republican party don't want to do anything to help, it will hurt the Republican party! That's why they want to point their lil fingers at someone else... Is this a reason not to vote Republican? I'd say so...

These foolish red states like Texas, or Florida that's run by these fools in the Republican party are making it harder for people to live their lives for the blame game...Its obvious!

Flat out lie ! If Obama wanted a shutdown, teapublicans would be against a shutdown.
08:16 AM on 08/08/2013
That is a fact!

Frank, for real!?! Your statement sounds oxymoronic... as much as repubs have done in support of this President, a shutdown "can't" happen if the President wants it! Go talk to mitch... get his counsel and then submit another story for us to read.

I am, literally, thrilled Wolf is no longer my congressman. One time that gerrymandering actually WORKED.

"“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

Need I say more? Yea, Republicans! Hitler would be proud....

As an old Republican I think my party is doing a good job of sticking it to themselves.

Obama wants a government shut down really? It is your parties idea to force the President into agreeing with you, either shut the government down or end the ACA so how is that something he wants? The truly sad part is the base they are speaking to believe that it will be Obama's fault to shut the government down. Their base believes that everyone must agree with them or pay the cost of a temper tantrum...if I cannot have it my way then I will take my ball and go home and it will be your fault that I went home with the ball. So sad.

The people who elected them only want to make a showing that they have conservative values whatever that means and don't really care whether what they do becomes law. So sad...but it really about race many of the base cannot stand that a minority is head of state and they have to do something to show their displeasure. The problem is they have been fed a bunch of lies which they want to believe are true by the GOP/TP. The southern strategy taken to the extreme because they have been lead to believe that the policies they oppose are not in their best interests when they are.
What responsible person wants to be free to be a burden on society, they believe it is the unemployed and welfare mothers and people receiving some form of government assistance, yet they want people not to buy health insurance to cover a basic need everyone has. Thus insuring everyone pays for their irresponsibility when they need medical care. Or working in a union shop and wanting a right to work law so they don't have to pay union dues while still receiving the benefits of union pay, benefits and representation when in trouble at work.

Here we go the mighty hill cannot play together again.

Again the mighty hill wants to stick it to the government workers .

Can't they stick it to themselves for once?
