Truth be told

I called both of my U.S. senators yesterday,
asking them to refuse Bernanke another term.

May I suggest that you do the same, today if possible.

Whitehouse said Bernanke didn't give a red hot damn about the American people ...

and, is this buzzard also up against a tough re-election fight----ala the Boxer airhead and many of both parties who are not backing BB; I am not defending BB on some items; having said that this mess was dropped pretty much on his watch; you all would have DONE BETTER TO HAVE RAISED SOME HELL DURING THE GREENSPAN HEGIRA, WHICH LAID MOST OF THESE ROTTEN DINOSAUR EGGS, ALONG W/ THE DEMISE OF G. S.------ By the way, do not be deluded that anyone else wants ----or is qualified for the post------certainly not the arrogant Krugman----who would never jump into the rot; this way he can arm-chair quarter back but the buck does not stop w/ him--

A true American hero. Whitehouse should be in The White House. I think he would make a wonderful President.

I like him too. I am stuck with Saxby "Shameless" Chambliss and Johnny "Good ole Boy" Isakkson. My only saving grace is my House Rep. Hank Johnson.

He leads the least transparent "agency" in America and doles out the largest sum of money. He had his chance, blew it, and needs to be replaced. I don't buy the standard line that he is the only person who can lead us out of this mess (same argument as with Geithner). I think the fear is that someone who actually cares about the American people will expose this whole house of cards we have that is called the financial industry.

Agreed, but if they do confirm him there should be some rules laid down about hiding what the fed is doing. I know the fed is a private institution but if we can't know what is going on then we just need a Government bank that controls the money and do away with the Fed.

Obama sticking closely with Dubya's Fed Chairman, probably the most important economic position in the nation. Where's the change?
03:40 PM on 01/28/2010
If you had money in CDOs at AIG, like Goldman Sachs did, the change is 100 cents on the dollar.

I understand that. It's called Reganomics, and Clinton was a Democrat for it. We can add Obama to the list of Supply Side/ Big Business first presidents. Change we can believe in? No We Can't.

Richard Burr of North Carolina is going to get the same treatment Elizabeth Dole got last year. If he sides with bankers and against the people of North Carolina, he can kiss goodbye to another term in the USSenate.

Bernanke must be stopped....anyway possible. If he was part of keeping AIG documents sealed, he should be in prison.

I have pretty much decided I probably won't support the dems or republicans for the rest of my life unless a new party comes along that does not have coportate intrest at heart, I will just be a commentator.

Kyl is really a repugnant person. Every time I see him open his mouth I change the channel. He is one of the most bitter sounding people in the Senate. He always appears to be mad at something or someone.
