Yes, let's put out a student because of who his parents are. That's just wonderful.

Meanwhile, at the Vatican, there are male prostitutes being hired for the pleasure of high-ranking Vatican officials. Perhaps a brief read of the bible would come in handy. I'm thinking about the part where it talks about removing the piece of lumber from your own eye before you try to tell others about the splinter in their eyes.

Hypocrites!

Thank god I left the catholic church when I was old enough to think for myself. They disgust me and anyone who would force this little kid out of school is nothing more than a tyrannical bast*rd who if there was a hell , should burn in it forever.

Technically, as a private/religious institution, they can do this as part of their protected status. Unfortunately.

It will be interesting, however, to see how those who are working there express their "disgust" over this. Could/would they be willing to attempt some form of reform there from within the Archdiocese?

No, as a religious institution, they can do this. Not to mention, it's been made perfectly clear by most politicians that sexual orientation will not be made a protected status (such as race or disability) any time soon.

Shameful.
I wonder if they also kick out kids whose parents are divorced? The church doesn't allow divorce either.

Lets not forget parents who practice any form of birth control.
