the debt ballooned under reagan. dropped under clinton. then skyrocket under bush 2.

the republicans have no idea how to balance an budget..

You can fool all the people some of the time. You can fool some of the people all of the time and those people are my audience.

Thanks for the much needed Grace/JA reminder. The liberal spirit reignited in the 60's is still alive and growing.

Ahhh, Jeff Sessions, the Henry Gibson of the Republican party, but not as funny and not as smart...

I have to say that the best part of this video is not this moron hemming and hawing over a question he's incapable of answering. The best part of the video is watching the reaction of the others at the table lol. John Cornyn was squirming, l kick out of watching John Cornyn squirm and Bob Mendez looked like he just won a stuffed animal at the circus....giddy as can be. I hope the DNC uses this video in as many campaigns as possible across this country.

The Republicans who love the single syllable word "NO" are put to shame and exposed as the intellectually bankrupt frauds they are with a single syllable question, "HOW?"

Of course they do not know what to do, they never did. I would respect the republicans more if they had any alternatives or solutions to the country's problems. All they have are complaints, whining and this blind obessession at destroying Obama. Unfortunately there are enough misguided and uninformed people in this country to put the them back into the power.

We're just against new taxes,
so if you cut taxes,
and extend the cuts already made,
that will help lower taxes,
and help the rich pay less,
while you keep paying the same taxes after the election, ha ha
and get nothing back on all the taxes you paid
so you would have unemployment, ha ha

or if you work for them,
then you can get a cushy *job like me. . .

Right now, Rachel is showing how Reagan tripled the deficit. She's also showing Poppy Bush, on video, saying how cutting taxes and growing the deficit is "voodoo economics." Now, a chart showing the deficit per president on a bar graph....yep, much higher on the Republicans. So, why is Reagan the GOP god? He also deregulated so Wall Street and the oil companies would wreck ruin. He got U.S. business hooked on illegal immigration's cheap labor when he granted amnesty decades ago. No going back for U.S. businesses (construction, agri-business, hospitality, and more) who would rather pay illegals under the table than pay legal workers. So, why do GOP candidates always compare themselves to Reagan? Or is this just more of conservatives really have no idea about anything so comparing yourself to Reagan just means you're tall and jovial? And, that's enough.

Why would I vote for a party that cannot even come up with new ideas? They want to maintain the status quo because by now, they have so much money that it's just a question of "how much more can I get for myself"
The middle class is disappearing fast! I hope the "independent" voters are really doing some soul searching, because the rethugs are NOT the answer! Live within my means? It's a question of : do we buy food or pay the mortgage or rent?

e-mail of support I sent to Congressman Sessions:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congressman Sessions:
Let me add my congratulations to all those I am sure who have been patting you on the back for your performance on "Meet The Press." The editors were unfair because they cut out all those other wonderful ideas you gave on how to balance the budget: just say “a penny saved is a penny earned,” hold a fundraiser at a Las Vegas strip club (as you did at the Forty Deuce Club in 2007), and invest in something solid, such as your 2008 $1.6 million earmark to an appropriations bill for research on developing a blimp. There aren’t many politicians who would be so bold as to say that if all that doesn’t work "We need to go back to the exact same agenda” as the Hoover, I mean Bush, Administration (same difference I guess). Keep generating those unique ideas from deep you know where.

Perhaps lowering the deficit can be done with chickens. Yes, Chicken Economic policies is something they seem to favor.

This was fairly delicious to watch! David Gregory is such a little weasel, but he did good this time. The GOP fellers just couldn't answer the question. They are genius at changing the story line and lord knows they did so several times each. But what was obviously clear if you were paying any attention at all, was that they couldn't answer Gregory's question about what they would do!!! Because of course, they wouldn't do a bloody thing!!!!!! Except go back to Bush ideas on the economy, jobs and such. We all know that was a winning formula. I hope that there were a TON of Independents watching that show. Very telling.

The sad thing is in my opinion is that maybe there are those that will watch this clip and walk away thinking, " It makes sense to me" and yell, "Honey get me ma tea bags. I'm ready for the next party. Ma Country is a callin." ,..

.But those are the ones that cannot think beyond the next soundbite. Unfortunately. Critical thinking is not their forte. There are those that may going to be view this as plus, simply because they lack critical thinking skills. Their like birds with beaks open wide for the next morsel that think will sustains them and keep them secure and well fed of untruths.

We need to work on this in terms of our educational system....

Thirty percent of the country is in favor of these bozos whatever they do, thirty percent (like me) think they're too stupi*d and unprincipled to be elected. Elections are won by winning over the majority of the remaining 40%--that video should do it!

At 1:39 of the clip , the look on Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) was priceless. Especially when you look at him in the beginning of the clip, where he was sitting looking like a proud peacock. Some frames later as Rep. Pete Sessions was being asked for particulars and pressed further by Gregory, Cornyn's looked more like a caught puppy. Dramatic changes withing frames and questions.
You may have to slow mo it prior to the clip mark, because it goes so fast, but it's worth it.

the rest of the country is being given a golden opportunity in Philly at the end of the month by the teabaggers.
they have taken Independence Mall for their little party.

We can take the Art museum and fill it with people who are fed up with the Tea Party, the Party of No, and all the garbage that has been spewed.

Steal their thunder - counter protest at the Philly Art Museum (the Rocky steps)...

I am posting this all over facebook.
If you think this is a good idea help with the cutting and pasting.
