I believe that his pledge "not to quit" is a prominent American display of democracry and belief in it despite recent administrative (Sarah Palin) failures and decision to be a QUITTER.

His platform and how he choses to lead....that's a VERY different argument.

A promise not to quit? He's clearly not qualified. Probably only went to one college before he graduated.

No surprise Samuel is running against Parnell/Palin backed AGIA. He was the only legislator to vote against it when Palin presented it.

Ooooops: insisting on confidentiality clauses is now a huge problem for Palin.

http://www.fresnobee.com/2010/06/15/1971791/palins-big-fresno-fair-appearance.html#Comments_Container

The word is now officially out: Palin's confidentiality agreements, special clauses, one-way strong-arm contracts, uber-security, etc. can get her inviting hosts into BIG trouble. Quickly. And the host may not recover. Financially. PR-wise. Or otherwise.

But the original fault lies with Van Flein, who may have unwittingly ruined Sarah's career and cut off her long-term financial spigot with his insistence on confidentiality agreements, hush-hush clauses, special treatment, one-way contracts, uber-security, payment penalties for cancellation, etc.

From what I understand the DC Speaking agency deals with her speaking events not her private lawyer.

Well, I guess it's better than, "I promise to stay on the job , unless I'm indicted."

Tuesday is the big nomination battle for the Republican ticket between Murkowski and Sarah Palin's pick Joe Miller, uber Tea B@gger.

As with all things Palin, the people involved are just class acts. This is the wife of Joe Miller's campaign manager representing the style and "rill Amerukin" values so important to Sarah. (Judging from the language, I wondered if she might be one of Sarah's daughters?)

i'll ask the same question as in the film. "does her husband know she's out in a bar doing this?"

the baggers must be desperate.

In AK the bar was never set that high. She just brought it to new lows and made it public knowledge.

Words SP is saying subconciously: "I promise not to quit until I've fully humiliated myself on the world stage and made every sensible woman in Amerrikuh physically ill."

Hey! This could catch on for the National Party. Perhaps something like: "Vote Republican. We promise not to find anymore excuses to take time off and will finally get off our lazy haunches and put in a full day's work...every day...seriously..."
