I used to have Clocky. My girlfriend made me get rid of it. It works insanely, annoyingly well. Just not a good way to wake up in a good mood.

Forget the kids - I need one (or two) of those Pivot Powers.

Literally - most of those things look like they will discolor, crack, or break after x number of months... even non-electronic stuff like a wooden caddy with leather siding was 100% veneer and fell apart after a few months. $40. Cheaply made. Guess where? (or better yet, which management told the workers to undercut on the quality of wood, leather, and glue being used, since bad management is universal...)

I wouldn't mind gifting vaporizers to the kids I know who are going to univ... they would do well to not pick up smoking, they can get their weed fix without the smoke..
05:18 PM on 08/31/2010
Any make/model in particular you could recommend to me.... ahem, to the kids, I mean?
06:29 PM on 08/31/2010
It's a very basic technology, heated glass vapourises the weed instead of direct heat, everything else they tell you is fancy shamcy garbage..., I would recommend anything with inbuilt fan in it though, so no pulling required..

vapir air and volcano are good in my opinion..

Okay, where do I get the iPad stand. That's cool. I also like the bendy/stretchy power strip.

find a long bit of rubber and cut a slice in it the thickness of the iPad, viola instant iPad stand.
save ya-self about $30

That Pivot Power strip looks like a good idea if you have a lot of devices where the "brick" plugs directly into the outlet.

I went to univ 10 years ago with pen and library cards, that pretty much it.
I am doing better than most of the folks who had all the toys..

With blistering student loan debt, more college kids need to learn the benefits and sophistication of frugality and austerity.

Do not buy the small projector. It's useless!! Waste of money. I have one.

When buying a projector check the lumen specs, the smaller is it the less powerful it is.

Too many plug-ins that use power and generate waste. Simplify.

Kids don't need gadgets for school. They need a good night's sleep, a decent breakfast, at least one parent committed to their learning, a school that doesn't feed them junky fast food, and safety.

Pod coffee makers are teh suck.

LED projectors are pretty sharp. They've been getting cheaper and cheaper, too.

#9 - Plant Based Purifier

Finally, something to soak up all that extra formaldehyde I've got floating around my living room.
