I have worked in the Pentagon, and I agree with Governor Barbour that there is some money to be saved there. Some things that conservatives say actually make sense.

But if Haley Barbour is one of the sharpest minds in the Republican Party, may the saints preserve us!

In the case of Governor Boober and his clan, the suspicion arises that they are from both sides.

Boober. I love that!

Not a fan of Barbour, but he is right-there is plenty of room for cuts in defense spending. Kristol and the rest of the right just want to increase spending so that corporations who benefit from the paranoia of the average American will take even more money from the taxpayers.

Barbour doesn't stand a chance because of his other stances on the issues, but at least he has the guts to stand up against the GOP chickenhawks like Kristol.

Haley Barber is a specialist in the racist dog whistle that only red necks hear. He should go far in national republican primaries. But it will catch up with him in the general election if nominated

Even though Haley has no chance, I still want him to run. I want him to raise a lot of money for the primary - money that would have otherwise gone to the eventual winner.

Haley, forget it. You ain't gonna make it. Fix Mississippi first.

When bigger and better bigots are required, Governor Boober's clan will accept the challenge and provide them.

Super. Now we're hearing what a political genius Barbour is. Last time I checked, conservatives were touting the brain wattage of Newt Gingrich...
It doesn't seem to difficult to impress these folks as long as you're willing to suspend reality.

he doesn't have support from many republicans in his own state.

his chances nationally are nil. Sterling can't polish that terd.

Kristol, one of the most frightening chickenhawks that ever lived should be shipped to the middle of the Afghanistan war, parachuted down with a hand gun, with an extra clip, and then told to find his way out with out a map.
